Beautiful but Dangerous- Micheal

Ariel went out to Theresa and asked her if there was a place in the building that she could be alone and the woman looked  taken aback by Ariel's request. Did something happen in the office just now?

"Ariel you know you have an injury. You aren't meant to be walking around. Why don't you go back in the office?" Theresa said

"I would go anywhere but that office" Ariel said with her hands shaking momentarily. Theresa felt and saw her hands that shook and wondered if  Sebastian had done anything bad to her that scared her. "Did he touch you?" Theresa asked and Ariel just looked at her feet and shook her head.

"It's complicated okay...." Ariel said still looking down and the lady could only rub her back in a motherly manner. For some reason, Ariel felt comfortable around this woman.

"It's okay. I'll take you to where you can be alone" Theresa said. The pair walked towards the elevator and went down to the last floor. Soon, they found themselves at the backyard of the huge building. The place was quiet. Exactly what Ariel wanted at that moment. Theresa watched as Ariel sat on an old bench and was lost in thoughts. It seemed the girl was thinking about something really serious. But as the time went by, a figure materialized right before them and it was. Micheal. Ohhhh....what did she do to deserve all this ruckus in one day. Fear gripped her once more as she looked at Theresa but the woman didn't look surprised as Ariel had expected. "Get out of here Micheal!" Theresa said with anger evident in her voice. Wasn't she even scared that his damned person just appeared right in front of them from nowhere? Wait...did these two..? Ariel's wild thought were cut off by Yuan's voice.

"Ohh... please stop it Resa. She has found out about our existence. I have no choice but to wipe her memory or kill her!" The man said

Resa?...our?. These two knew each other, and not just like know each other. They were like allies or enemies perhaps. Wait a freaking second....is Theresa also a part of them? A part of these creatures? Ariel thought. But she didn't feel any uneasiness when she met her. Instead, she felt comfortable around her. In fact, Ariel just wanted to go home already but it wasn't even noon yet. All these things were too much for her to handle in a day.

"Leave it Mike. The existence of the witches weren't certainly going to be hidden from some people in the world. Ariel here, is among those people. So forget it. No wiping her memory, no killing her. Now leave!" Theresa said and for the first time since she met this lady, Ariel felt a sure warning in her voice. But that wasn't the only thing that caught her attention. "Witches?" Ariel said in a low voice. That's the explanation!. Ariel was sure that this guy was someone in a high rank in their world.

"Resa...Resa...Resa, just so stubborn. But fine I'll leave it. For now that is. But be sure I'll be back" he said as he looked at Ariel when he said his last sentence, as if giving her a surety that he will be back. After that, he disappeared from their sight, only leaving a wisp of green mist in where he had been standing. How could someone that beautiful be dangerous? Ariel thought. Yes, Micheal was blessed with an out-of-this-world beauty but he was sinister and dangerous and sought to kill her. But thinking about him only reminded Ariel of Sebastian. But she felt Sebastian was different.

Ever since Ariel was born, she had the ability to differentiate between a normal human and creatures like Micheal. But it was like the ability was dormant until she met Micheal. She met him on a fateful night when she was fifteen years old, wandering in her late mother's garden at the back of their house. Ariel had shared memories with her late mother in that garden and going back there from time to time just brought her peace. But slowly, the garden was turning into a forest since there was no one to take care of it. Ariel hadn't really met her father in her lifetime, the only information she knew about her father was that he saved her and her mother and she was just a few months old when he died. He only had his baby daughter in his arms a few times before leaving to the other side.

Ariel and her mother always took care of the garden together. But since her mother died when Ariel was just six, Ariel had offered to do it herself. But her grandmother never agreed to it and only told her to avoid the garden. Ariel did the part of avoiding to take care of it but she didn't do the part of staying away from it. Curiosity and inquisitiveness was  something that was already implanted in Ariel since birth. She keep on going to the garden secretly until that night she met Micheal. At this time, the garden had turned into a forest.

When she was fifteen, she walked into the garden slowly, and she when she was about reaching the spot where there was a bench her and her mother used to sit and chat on, she felt a strange aura around her. She didn't know how to describe it. It felt sickening and shivers ran down her spine. Before she could turn around and find her way back to the house, she saw a group of people. About five in number, discussing something seriously and before Ariel could blink, the once-a-conversation turned into a fight. It wasn't a normal fight though, they were uttering incoherent words. After, the words were uttered, they just start acting in a very strange way as a wisp of green mist surrounded them. But there was a man among them that didn't seem to get affected by the words which were uttered. Wait....he was the one actually uttering it. After the wisp died down, the four men just fell to the ground, unmoving. Ariel just watched as the man who uttered the words smiled a sinister smile. As if noticing the presence of someone, he turned his head towards Ariel's direction and she held her breath. She felt adrenaline pumping in her veins as he looked at her. His eyes were dark green and his body released a green mist and it surrounded him. Something in Ariel just said to her that he wasn't normal. There's no way, this wasn't normal.

He teleported towards her and as he was about to reach her, a white light appeared right in front of her and she was out of the forest and back in her house. The experience was just too much for Ariel's fifteen year old heart so she told her grandma all about it. The old woman only warned her to stay away from the forest and told her that  creatures they didn't need to find out about did exist and Ariel should do her best to stay away from them if she experienced what happened with the man in the forest(Micheal) with anybody again.

Since then, years passed and Ariel avoided the forest. Until three nights ago. She felt something telling her to go there and the still curious Ariel did go. This time, it was about twelve of them. Twelve of Micheal's kind. She could feel it. She just knew it. They gathered there discussing. Just like in the past. Until Micheal felt her presence, and he said to this allies "This is the human that found out about us eight years ago. Do your best and capture her so we can wipe her memory". After Ariel heard what he said, she started running. When did her sweet garden-now-turned forest turn into a place of discussion for these creatures. Goshh...damn these unruly creatures!. She cursed inwardly as she ran and sooner than later, the light that saved her from Micheal eight years ago, appeared and saved her again as she appeared in her home.

A night after that, the same thing happened and so did it happen the night after that . That's when she tagged them as "unruly creatures". Unruly creatures that sought after her life. She hated herself for not being able to not listen to the voice that always told her to go there. Now she was in this mess.

After jolting out of her thoughts, Theresa asked her "Are you okay?" and Ariel nodded. Only to look up and see that Theresa's eyes were different. It changed from it's normal hazel color to pitch black. "Sorry about my eyes. That man you saw there was Micheal Walter. The leader of the witches in Veechio. He's very powerful. How did you even get entangled with him?" The lady said concerned as she sat beside Ariel.

"Veechio" Ariel uttered in a low voice. That's where her mother's from. Besides that, that place was like the other side of the world from where they were now. So this guy left Veechio, all the way to Asia to kill her or what?

"It's a long story..." Ariel said as she looked into Theresa's eyes. Her eyes were still different from it's normal state but Ariel didn't feel bothered at all. After a while, she told Theresa all about how she met Micheal and how he invaded her mind last night. Concern was the only thing written in Resa's eyes as she looked at Ariel and gave her a hug.

"There's one thing that I know for sure. That thousand year old witch has another real reason why he wants to kill you. Not just because you found out about their existence" Theresa said

"A thousand year old?" Ariel blurted out in shock and Theresa nodded. But he looked so young and fresh?!

"But what could be the other reason?" Ariel asked

"That's what we are going to find out!" Theresa said before giving Ariel a reassuring smile.
