First day of work

Ariel felt her knees getting weaker and weaker as time went by. She didn't introduce herself until the lady nudged her. Ariel's tongue was practically frozen. After a few seconds later, she spoke "Good morning Sir, I'm Ariel Parker"

Sebastian just started at the young woman the entire time with his eyes locked on her. After she showed him her personal documents, he finally said a word "impressive". His deep voice was just so alluring. Ariel couldn't take her eyes off the man in front of her. His handsomeness...no..beauty was so sinful. His dark hair looked so silky and soft, his eyes were like two golden gemstones. Ariel had heard of the mysterious eye color of the CEO of "X &Y Corporation" but she expected it to be weird to look at but it wasn't. It was actually cold but beautiful. Ariel felt his eyes could draw anyone into it's abyss.

Despite her mind was against looking at his sinful beauty, Ariel couldn't help herself. But after a few minutes later, she reminded herself of what she felt when she meet saw him. It was the same extreme fear she felt when she met those creatures. She then knew he wasn't normal. He was either like them or another creature she still has to find out about. So, putting her guard up, Ariel decided to ignore all his beauty and focus on getting her job.

After Sebastian was done with looking at her documents, he called out to the lady "Theresa?" and the lady walked up to him. Hearing his voice again almost made Ariel spit blood. He was just too much. His voice was too sexy for her innocent ears.

Sebastian whispered something to the woman and in a few seconds, the woman came up to her and asked her to give Sebastian a minute to deliberate. Ariel secretly wished she heard him speak again but she had to control herself. "He might be like those creatures so stop it Ariel!!" She thought to herself.

Theresa led her outside the door and she waited on a small chair close to the office. After minutes of waiting, Theresa finally came out of the office and announced the bad news to her "I'm sorry miss. Better luck next time". Ariel was about of start tearing up until Theresa burst out laughing and said " I was just joking Ariel. You got the job. Congratulations!". Still doubting, Ariel asked "for real?" and Theresa nodded and Ariel could only breath a sigh of relief.

"You will be his personal assistant and start work tomorrow" Theresa said and Ariel looked confused for a minute "But I signed up for assistant distributor?" She asked. "You can't really question the boss. Maybe he saw something in you and made you his personal assistant" Theresa said

"Now, you need to go home and rest because you have to resume work at 6:30 sharp. No late coming or you might loose your job before you even start it" Theresa said before leading her to the elevator and out of the company.

Ariel was stunned. She didn't really expect to get the position of his personal assistant. What if he really is like those creatures and wants to kill her that's why he made her his personal assistant and do it would be easier? Ariel's heart was beating fast but when she remembered that the white light will protect her, she calmed down a bit. "It would be fine Arry. You got this." She said to herself before taking a taxi home.

Getting home, Ariel decided to sleep early to resume work early. She didn't even eat dinner. Falling into the sweet land of sleep, Ariel saw him. That person that annoys her the most. The guy that looks at her like he was about the kill her with just his eyes. The guy, one of the creatures that pursue Ariel at that night anytime she decided to wander into her late mother's garden which has now turned into a forest at the back of her house. The guy was the leader of those creatures. Michael Walter.

In her dream, Ariel was standing right in front of her house as he emerged from the forest slowly, he walked up to her with a sinister smile. "You little human". His voice seemed to scare Ariel greatly as she fell to the floor on her butt and Michael looked like he was about to pounce on her as he shouted "Run you little human.....Run!!!" and Ariel woke up and jumped out of her bed. Fear was an underrated word to use compared to what she was feeling now.

Panting and sweating, Ariel looked at the time and it was 5:30am. She suddenly remembered she had to get to work early and she ran to the bathroom and in a few minutes she was out. She dressed corporately as usual for work and ran out of the house to get to work as fast as she could. Entering a taxi, Ariel looked at the time and it was already 6:15am, she had only fifteen minutes to get to work. Going late on a first day wasn't something Ariel planned on doing.

"Please can you drive faster" Ariel told the driver and the man sped up. Arriving at the company, the driver hit the brakes and Ariel's head bumped on the car seat since she sat at the back. Ariel gave the driver the money and walked fast into the company building.

Ariel saw that no one else had come to work yet so she went straight to the CEO'S office to check if he had come. Good thing she still remember her way there. Entering the elevator, she looked at the time and it was 6:30am. Alas, she was early.

The elevator doors opened and Ariel found her way straight to Sebastian's office. She knocked on the door and no one answered, out of curiosity, she opened the door and stepped in. The office was dark and Ariel somehow found her way to curtains that covered the glass walls and opened it. Turning back, she gave a low scream as she found Sebastian sitting on his fancy chair, staring at her. He really did give her a fright. Blushing hard out of embarrassment, Ariel spoke to him "I didn't see you there...I mean...Good morning Mister Park" she said with a little stammer.

The man rose up from his chair and walked up to Ariel, staring down at her. Only then did Ariel realize that this man was so tall. Her head was reaching his abdomen for crying out loud. "You are late" he said staring straight into her eyes. "Uhmm..but Theresa...". "Don't mind what Theresa says. I'm your boss and I said you're late!" He said cutting her off

"I'm sorry" she said looking down at her feet. "Look at me" he ordered and Ariel could only comply "Make sure that by 6:00am you're at work. Don't make your boss come earlier than you" he said and she nodded.

He stared at her for a while before asking "What's on your head?" And Ariel looked confused there. Did she put something on her head ? She didn't remember putting anything on her head before leaving her home this morning. Seeing her confusion, Sebastian sighed and touched her forehead and Ariel cried out in pain "ouch..!". Ohhh she really did hit her head back in the car and she was sure it was swollen and red now and this man wouldn't like a PA whose forehead was like a clown's nose. "I'll take care of it" Ariel said as she removed the hair band that previously tied her hair. Her thick and long red hair danced down from her roots to her shoulders and ended on her waist. Her hair covered most part of the bump but it left half of her face covered. But it wasn't weird, it was actually sexy.

Sebastian stared at the woman for a while before going back to his seat. "So what should I do as your PA?" Ariel asked with her eyes beaming with joy. Not because she was happy with the job but because she was pleased this man didn't complain anymore about her bump. Sebastian stared at her thoughtfully before saying "I need you to get me coffee". Ariel was stunned momentarily before saying "ok sir" and leaving the office. Walking out, she saw Theresa had just arrived and asked for where she could get coffee and the lady helped her out.
