Attacked.

"I can't feel anything,Blake." Nina sighed "I have to master my wolf form before those rogues come again!"

"Nina." he stopped her from pacing "Even if your wolf form comes today it doesn't mean you'd know how to fight so quickly"

Blake,the son of the Storm Moon Pack,has always been Nina's friend right from childhood.They were so close that one could easily think they'd end up as mates but Blake's mate died during childbirth along with the child.

"I could learn one or two things.It's better than hiding when they get here.Besides I can't let dad fight alone."

He saw that she was already getting worked up so he decided to change the topic.

"Don't force it,Nina.Your wolf would come on its own."

She was quiet for a while.

"How..how are you living without Elena?"

He dropped the daggers he'd been using to teach her.His fair brown hair blown back by the wind.

"I'm doing without her,ain't I?"

"Yes.You are"

She knew he didn't want to talk about it.

"Come on,I've got to take you home"

He didn't say a word on the way home.Deep within him,he knew he never loved Elena.Nina had always been the one he was in love with-at least his human self.His wolf had chosen Elena.

When she died,he thought now he could get a chance with Nina but the latter showed no interest in him.

Alpha Ralph was in his wolf form when they arrived with blood smothered on his side.Nina rushed to him immediately.Had the vampires come again? So soon?? It wasn't even the full moon yet!

She kept on asking what happened but he didn't answer.He changed back to his human self and urged Blake to take Nina faraway from there immediately.

"No,dad.I'm not going anywhere without you.What is going on?"

Ralph and Blake continued to stare at each other.Nina knew they were discussing with their minds.It frustrated her to the core.Where the hell was her wolf?!

"C'mon Nina.We have to go." he held her.

Nina yanked her arm off

"I won't leave without you,dad.You know that!" she screamed at him as her eyed filled with tears because she knew what he was about to do.She held his shoulders.

"Don't.Don't do that! I won't let you sacrifice your life for me! Please don't do that." she broke down and fell on her knees.

She felt so worthless and useless.She couldn't even protect herself say less of her father and the pack.

Ralph wiped the tears in his eyes without her knowing and said firmly to Blake.

"I've gotten things ready.Grab the horses.Get away from here..." he morphed into his alpha his voice booming "....don't ever bring her back here."

Mind link he said "take care of her"

Blake stared at him blankly.He knew the enemies were nearby and he was ready to lay down his life for his daughter.

"Now!" he growled

Blake picked her up.Nina struggled with him but it was useless He easily threw her thin frame over his shoulders.She kept on yelling as he took her away.

"Dad!! Let go,Blake! Don't do this,dad! Dad!!"

He placed her into the carriage and locked the door.He entered through the other side and Axel drove the carriage.Nina turned to him.She slapped him across the face.

"You monster!" she hit him repeatedly on the chest "How could we leave him there on his own?! he can't fight them all!" she sobbed "I hate you! I hate you so much"

He said nothing,he just let her spit out all the anger.

"..and dont you dare touch me that way again."

He looked at her just then.He was obviously hurt at her words.His hazel eyes twinkled.

"I'm sorry." he whispered,his brown hair tussled after the way she slapped him.

Nina looked away.She knew it wasnt his fault too.He'd have to obey the Alpha after all.But the way he carried her!

Tears fell through her cheek.She wondered the state her father would be in.After much thinking,sleep stole her away and Blake hoped she'd sleep till the next day.

Her voice reverberated in his head.

"I hate you.I hate you so much" he tried to convince himself that she didn't mean that,that she only said that because of an outburst of emotion.

Still he felt a pang of pain in his chest.He stared at her.Her black auburn hair slightly covering part of her face.Her chest moving rhythmically as she slept.

He swallowed a lump in his throat as he immediately looked away from her exposed cleavage.He tightened his fist,trying hard to control his urge.

Nicolina was every male-wolf's dream.She's beautiful.So beautiful that Blake had a wicked thought in his mind.

He was somewhat glad that most of the werewolves were dead because there's a higher possibility that her mate died in the war against the vampires.

He felt a bit of hope when Alpha Ralph placed his daughter's care in his hand.That could mean he already chose him as Nina's husband.

Blake smiled and stared at her again.He held her little hands in his.

"Oh Alpha Ralph..." he thought "Thank you for making Nina"

He couldn't wait for them to arrive at their destination.He'd marry Nina immediately.He shrugged as he imagined it.

Nina would become the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack once her father dies and he will soon become the Alpha of his pack.

He kissed her knuckles as his eyes blazed red...

"No one can take you away from me"
