The Only Chance

She looked haggard and frail.

Nina held her. "Are..are you okay? What happened to you?!"

"I'm fine" even her voice sounded weak "Mateo denounced me already so I still feel a little weak"

"What?! He denounced you?!" Nina couldn't believe her ears.

Alicia sighed as she grabbed Nina's hands.

"Don't shout too much" she then reached out for something inside her hood "Here" she handed it to Nina.

"The other time when you had ask if there was another way to stop Mateo" she paused "Yes there is a way" she said.

"I had only lied because if he had known that there's another way to stop him he'd get rid of it and then there'd be no other way" Alicia said
