Nathan:
I looked at my mate who was looking at me like I was some stranger, I could hear her heart racing as she looked at me with fear in her eyes, an expression which I have never seen on her face.
“Kiara?”
“P-please…” she said in a voice just above a whisper.
“Love?” I got up and tried approaching her, but she flinched. My eyes widened at the sight and I felt my heart drop when I saw her shaking, her eyes looking frantically around the room as if she was trying to figure out where she was.
“Baby, what’s going on?” I asked her softly, I tried taking her hand in mine but she quickly removed it and hugged herself as if protecting herself “Kia?”
“Please don’t hurt me” Kiara didn’t know how badly her words had hurt me, my own mate feared me hurting her, her eyes looked into mine but I could swear that she didn’t even know me, her lips quivere
