Chapter 61
Nathan:
I wrapped my arms around my mate’s waist holding her as she lost conscious, the river flow was back to normal but she had exerted her own body trying to use as much as power as she could, and the fact that she did it for me made my heart skip a beat.
Her heartbeat was racing as her chest rose and fell in my arms, her head laying on my shoulder as she slept, her body weakening as she slept, I wrapped her arm around my neck and her other was on her stomach.
“You did good baby girl” I whispered to her knowing that she was listening to me despite being out of it, I walked us back to the packhouse, Elijah was the first to see us and his eyes widened when he saw Kiara out conscious.
“She returned the flow of the river” I said looking at Elijah and Ashton who were looking between Kiara and I, their eyes wide in worry, I understood their worry, the energy that Kiara needed to put was the most she’s ever pulled.
