Chapter 79
Kiara:
I woke up to Nathan drawing patterns on my lower back with his finger.
“Good morning beautiful” Nathan said softly, obviously noticing my change of breathing patterns as I woke up, Nathan’s arms tightened around me before he kissed the crown of my head.
“Morning” I whispered laying in a more comfortable position beside my husband, having been laying on top of him, literally, I laid down beside him before laying my head on his chest, his arms not loosening around me “when did you wake up?”
“About an hour ago” Nathan said softly, I pulled away to look him in the eye, dark circles had formed under his exhausted eyes from crying, he had cried himself to sleep last night, though for some reason he refused to let me go as he slept, it was as if he was afraid that I would be running away, and thankfully, Lilian got a full night of sleep last night, she didn’t wake us up when we fell asleep.
