3. LEADING UP TO THE FIRST DATE
Tala was laying down after a long day. Just as she laid down she got a text. It was from Luna, "hi, Tala?"
" Yes , you Got the right numer." said Tala
" good I was wondering if you wanted to go on a real date with me Tomorrow?" -Luna
"sure ! I would love that! What time sound I be ready? -Tala
" 8 if that " works? I'll pick you up'' - Luna
"ok I'll see you then." -Tala
Tala got off the phone and screamed in excitement" eeekkkkkk!!!!!" Tala squealed. She was dancing around the room in excitment as her mother walked in. Tala? what's going on? Her mom asked. I thought you were hurt you never have screamed out like that before. Tala knew she had to tell her mom. " Yes mom! Perfect! Couldn't possibly get any better! I have my first date tomorrow! OMG! I have no idea what to wear! you've gotta help me. " saidi Tala " Ofcourse my love I will help you! What did you have?! Said Her mom Tala "s style was very eclectic and with not knowing specifically where they were going she had no idea what to wear.
The next morning Luna got up and went on her run with the pack. Her cousin running next to her. " why are you so distant this moring " asked Trae. Luna smiled and ran even faster. Trae caught up to her. " you didn't anwer the question. " " Uh-huh, and why do you think that's any of your business? said Luna. " Well that anwers the question. I knew it! Is it some guy I know? " said Trae. "no, said Luna " it's no one you know. I'll intoduce you if it gets to that point. But for now I better get to work." " Okay, Okay " says Trae and runs off.
It was 6 pm and Tala closed up her and her mom's crystal shop. Ran up stairs to get ready. Her and her mother went through 1/2 her wardrobe. Finally she decided! Her new high waisted taperd black dress pants, a cute simple cami a pair of black combat boots along with heavy accessories.
Luna got off work she does county inseptions on both residental and commercial properties. She swong by the house and quickly showered and changed. she put on her favorite red button down with a fitted pair of khakis pants, dark brown work style boots. She hopped in her black Jeep and headed to pick up Tala. she was making fantastic time. So she decided to stop and get flowers. she pick a bouquet of beautiful mixed flowers with a few pieces of eucalyptus. She just knew these were the ones.

DING DONG It was luna at the door to pick up Tala. Surprisingly enough Tala's mom stayed in her room giving Tala her privacy for now. " oh wow! these flowers are perfect !" Tala exclaimed. Tala got inside her apartment confused. She didnt know if that was a good dated or if the akwardness at the end ruined everything. She got ready for bed and just as she was getting under her blankets her phone went off. It was a text from Luna. "Well I goot home safe. I really had a great time. I had no idea you were suck a great dancer. I hope that akwardness at the end of the date wasn't a turn off for you. I just didn't know what to say. there's just somethings I am not ready to discuss until we are in a relationship." explained Luna "It's ok, I was just curious because I had never seen something like that happen before. But I wont pressure you. So when will I see you again hopefully we wont be taunted by assholes again. " said Tala. " Coffee before work? She quickly asked. " Yes we can do coffee. Later that evening Tala had her dinner with her mom. They went to their favorite seafood restuarant right by their apartment. It is nice to get out but still not have to worry abour driving. " So Tell me about her, I saw she bought you flowers the other night for you date. That was romantic and she picked you up too. So whats her name? When will you see her again? Do I get to meet her ?' " Well her name is Luna, she's a bit mysterious but so amazing we really seem to e a good match. Maybe I could have her over for dinner later ths week if that's ok. " said Tala. " Absolutly I will I'll plan something amazing. " said her mom . " I know you will you always do. I wonder if it is because you're a kitchen witch. " They both laughed. Tala was so tired after all her reading and studying. it apeared that this woman she's been growing so fond of could indeed be a werewolf. To his was just so baffeling to her because 24 hours ago this was folk lore, fantasy even. But at the same time Tala is a generational witch. So magick is real and she knows this. Well the days passed by, Luna and Tala spoke on the phone and text daily. A werewolf and a witch didn't seem like such a big deal anymore. It was finally Sunday the big day.Tala came into the kitchen and pored a cup of coffee Zuri was also in the kitchen having her morning coffee. " So mama watch making tonight? LUNA Luna walks in at 7:30 am after being gone all night she had to take the bus as they lived on the outskirts of the city. " Dang cuz' where you been? you get lucky o sum?" her cousins say playing.
