I was in the middle of sitting when she said that, and I nearly missed my chair. Tears immediately welled in my eyes as I replied, “I haven’t used my magic since our first morning here. That was only because I had no choice. So, you have had at least one vision about me?” Princess Chloe replied, “I have. I am so happy you two decided to call in the alliance on this. As I stand before these ladies, I can’t believe how quickly they stepped up to help me. There was no hesitation at all. I ask my mom, “What is the spell?” My mom smiles, “Let me do it. It’s bad enough that your magic will be flying around, at least it won’t be used. That’s what leaves the marker.” I slap myself in the head, “Duh! It has been three days since I stored my magic, and I really don’t miss it as much as I thought I would. My mom did such an amazing job raising me to be able to survive without it, that it’s just second nature now. I’m sure she probably knew this would happen.
