"Why did you remove his fine hands off your ugly hands?" Whix yelled at her.

"I just felt a bit weird that's why he should not be scared too, I am not running if that's what he thinks will happen."

She tried defending her actions.

"Moon goddess please help my human form to act like every reasonable human, Adriana is so senseless." Whix made a tease of her.

"Did I say something wrong? I am sorry if I did." Xavier apologise with his charming voice and she felt the cold chills over her body.

"No, not at all, you never said anything wrong and yes, I would love a drink so we get to know ourselves very well, I think we are destined to be together for a reason," Adriana said giving him her full smile

"That's better then, so shall we?" He acted like the gentleman he is.

Adriana cleared her throat giving a sign of her having a word to say to him.

"Adriana what are you planning to do? Kindly give me a hint let me know if it's a foolish move okay?" Whix insisted knowing Adriana might go off and ruin things with their mate.

Xavier couldn't stop admiring her, he thanked the moon goddess for bringing Adriana into his life, he wished to just be with her forever and stand by her in times of good and bad.

"Is anything the matter? Or did you have a change of plan? Go on, tell me and I would surely understand it." He said in a breaking voice.

"Can I make a request?" Adriana asked politely.

"Go on, and I will make sure your request is granted tonight, I will do anything to make it possible." He made a promise that he could keep.

Adriana felt so special and welcomed by him alone, she knew her feelings for him will be genuine, now she understood the connection that exist between Jeremy and his mate Laura.

"Let's have a drink somewhere else, please? My boss won't let me discuss with you knowing I need to serve customers their orders." She played with her fingers while asking for her request unable to look at him in his eyes.

"Consider it done Adriana, now shall we?" He asked with a gentle look having a pleasant smile.

"Yes, we shall."

"Then after you pretty Adriana." Immediately he said this, her cheek was burning up, "Thank you Xavier and please do not flatter me, I might fall easily." She gave a simple warning to guide her heart and he understood every word he spoke.

"Then I guess I should use more words on you so you can fall easily for me, what about that?" He asked walking behind her.

"Let's just go." She added.

"You need to control yourself girl, he is yours for life and no one can change that fact, you seem happier than me," Whix said.

"Thats because he is so handsome and got a killer smile, and his aura is just, I don't even know, I am short of words." Adriana kept fantasising as she walked majestically with her mate walking behind her.

she kept on discussing with her mate, not focused on the exact place she places her foot, she missed her step and slipped but luckily for her, her mate held her from behind as her eyes got locked with Xavier's eyes.

"Thank you, I lost focus that's why I slipped, trust me I am not this clumsy." She said still looking at him with lots of affection as he did the same.

"Just be yourself to me okay? You can be clumsy, I already like you the way you are." He supported her to stand properly as he flipped her hair.

"Thank you." She added not knowing what else to say, she has never fallen for a guy like this.

"Mate I am sorry." He apologises making her a hell confused at what he was pleading for.

"Why do you think he is apologising?" Adriana asked her wolf form who neither had any answer to give.

"I do not know because I am not in his head right now, only Red my found mate will know that but knowing he is so romantic and good with lines, just get ready to turn all red again." Whix gave a fair answer.

"Why are you apologising?"

"Because I can not resist myself to do this to you." He moved a step closer to her as he places his lips on hers, her eyes got widened because she never expected this to take place.

"Awww, this is so sweet," Whix said

"I know you got the gut, I can not wait for the marriage rites to take place so you can mark her as yours forever," Red added.

Alpha Collen requested the presence of his son at once.

"Alpha I am sorry but Xavier is out of town," Stefan replied.

"This late? What is wrong with Xavier? Does he think he is just a kid that can leave town anytime he pleases and return whenever he likes, how can he be alpha to the packs and other alphas?" Alpha Collen complained feeling so vexed.

"I apologize on his behalf Alpha, that's why I am here to help you out with anything you need Xavier for, Alpha Collins made Xavier so angry because he was mocked for not having a mate yet." Stefan voiced it out to him.

Alpha Collen had a deep breath thinking of what to say, his wife was also intermediated because of the same thing, his son and the rumors, he feels some packs might be planning to take the alpha responsibility from his son.

"I feel there is a traitor amongst us all, at first I took the snowpack words as just the usual statement but now, I feel they might be planning to take over this pack by stealing the moonstone."

"I doubt if such could happen, Alpha Collen, it's only a wolf that wishes to die at once that will ever think of attempting to steal the stone from us? the security is tight and when touched the warning sound will alert everyone." Stefan made him see reasons.

"You make a lot of sense you know, I want you to do one thing for me."

"Anything you say alpha I am ready to carry it out for you," Stefan said with full confidence and having a serious look on his face.

"I need you to get someone from the snowpack to monitor their movements, I wish to know what their plan is right now."

"I will work on that sir."

While they were still talking, one of the wolves rushed in saying, "Alpha Collen, we just caught a witch."
