Chapter four

Maddox

             My beta Luke was ready, he bounced up in the car seat as I drove out of the gate .I could smell his anxiety and excitement as he fastened his seatbelt.I wasn't excited but certainly calm . But I certainly know for a fact that at the end of today .I will probably rip some one's throat.I don't understand why the Fuck i have to go to school.

                         

            "Maddox stop that growling ,"

            " My wolf is just antsy,"

                "That makes the two of us , despite all of this I'm most certainly excited to meet my mate if she out there , "

  Luke had a big grin on his face .This was certainly not my beta right now.he never mirrored my grumpiness but he was never this excited for school .I kept my eyes on the road a i drove.

                "Well let me run you down the people that were there during my intense training ,"

                    "I don't even want to know ,"

 Apparently Luke had come today and decided to surprise me . I had actually missed this dude and nothing was The same without him at the pack .He was selected as one of the few guards of the elders of the council . After training,he would either remain as beta only if he found his mate within two months or leave immediately and transfer to another school But it all depends on the alpha's decisions and I'm the Alpha but i couldn't force Luke to stay or remain .

    We finally reached our destination which was school nothing had changed since last year and this was our final year as seniors. Thank God I finally get to finish school so that I can concentrate on my pack .

                        "And find mate,"my wolf Xavier lazily chirps in .

                            "Well I Don't think mate is anywhere near here," I roll my eyes 

                        "Of course i have a good feeling about today !" He claps excitedly.

                              "Yeah I don't think so ,"I mutter loudly this time .

      "We will find mate,"My wolf comments sadly .

          Unlike my wolf Xavier is always optimistic and very aggressive. I'm more pessimistic and relaxed .I just hope I find my mate before I die of old age. Maybe it's because Iam grumpy and so cold that the gods don't want to bless me with a mate .But my wolf refuses .I just shake my head and decide to go to head towards my locker.

      As I go further into the hallways.I smell a very strong ,sweet And intoxicating vanilla scent With fresh cookies .It's so sweet, it makes my mouth water immediately my wolf takes control 

                            "Mate find mate!"my wolf says

I follow the trail of the Mysterious vanilla scent it grows stronger as I Move away in the hallways and now my wolf is fighting to get out . This Time it is Strong with a hint of strawberry .I involuntary follow the scent to satisfy my animalistic urges.The hallways is filled with this strong scent and I just want to.......before I could even register what was going on . Luke taps my shoulder immediately which disturbs my wolf and makes me angry.

                                "Where are you going man? Your locker is right here ."He laughs.

                            "Mate need to find mate!"I angrily shout .

                                "Woah Man calm down okay people are looking," Luke answers shocked because he has never seen me act like this ever.

                                    "Then step away !"I growl lowly .

     Luke steps away with his surrendered and I continue to move fast as I follow the vanilla scent when a familiar voice stops me .

                         "You bitch !" Jane shrieks .

    "I'm so so so sorry," the sweet voice stutters 

                        "You fucking ruined my dress cunt!"She growls

   

   She raises her arm to slap my mate and that was all it took for my wolf to take over.My eyes completely darken to my wolf's grey color losing the least bit of control I have left because all I see is red.

     "Leave her alone !" I snarl behind her

 Jane pales immediately she looks behind me.

My wolf is enraged and it's going to Take a lot for him to calm down.

                      "You can't possibly defend this human!She ruined ...."

                                "Get out!" I growl

                                    "Maddox please ,"she pleads.

                     "Alpha for you," I cut her off."now get out before I lose it !" I growl loudly the walls reverberate. 

       The girl huffs in annoyance and takes two small steps backwards and leaves immediately with her loud heals clicking slowly slowly.

       For so long I have been longing to find my mate .My wolf is fighting for dominance to mark our mate and I'm trying so hard to control myself. But it's nearly impossible .The only reason preventing me from doing this is the fact that she's human and we are in public 

                    "Comfort mate!" My wolf whimpers 

She has bright blue doe eyes and thick long curly blonde hair that flows down her waist .I hold onto her softly as I help her on her two feet .I look down at her and realize how short she is.Her sweet scent is even more intoxicating .She smells like home ,it's an intoxicating scent of fresh cookies and sweet vanilla and it makes my mouth water .

I look at her plump pink lips and fight the urge to not kiss her and mark her right there and then

                            "So fucking beautiful ,"I whisper.

        I realize that she's human and i can't mate with someone whose human .It's only going to be a burden on me . Besides i have managed to run my pack since i was young without a luna .I will simply reject her but my wolf refuses . 

                             "She's human !"

                        "Soooo..."Xavier rolls his eyes .

         "Thank you alpha ,you didn't have to.." she replies shyly making me chuckle because she thinks my name is Alpha 

                    "No Maddox for you," I correct her after all she's my mate and she's my equal . That's if I don't reject her immediately My wolf only grunts in response.

        "Alright ," she stutters nervously.

                            "Fuck! I'm late for my class " I mutter under my breath remembering that i have a chemistry class.I Decide to leave without saying anything to her to avoid marking her at the spot .

                       "I want mate ,"my wolf whines 

                "No Xavier,"I refuse .

                        "Why ?"he asks in a small voice ."she's everything we need as a Luna ,"

                  "She's human and she's weaker and it will be complicated,"

                    " I don't care ,"my wolf huffs in annoyance and retreats further back into my mind .Now I don't know what to do
