Chapter 16

Elina

After the game we make our way to the dining hall to eat some supper. I feel exhilarated and high on adrenaline from the game and the boys seem to be as well. I have decided that I will call them the boys. We are loud as we talk about things that happened, laugh at the mistakes we did and plan for how to make a better job next time.

In the dining hall I am placed at a table while the boys fetch food. When I’m left on my own the adrenaline slowly ebbs out and I start to feel slow and tired. The day has been a long one for me with a lot of information and new experiences. As Lazarus places my plate in front of me I let out a big yawn.

“Just eat as much as you can and then we’ll head back to our room. I think we need a shower and then you need to sleep.” I
