CHAPTER 8

Killian's POV

“My Alpha, the men sent to deliver the supplies to the pack warriors were attacked by rogues at the river.” Beta Nightfury reported.

I stood by the window, gazing outside.

"One of the men returned with the report, he said they were about twenty-four of them, and they had their faces covered up.”

“And the supplies?”

“They were taken.” Beta Nightfury replied.

I nodded subtly and turned walking towards him. “Find out about these rogues. I want them caught. Take the fool who returned alive with you. He should assist you in finding those rogues." I ordered.

Beta Nightfury nodded and gave a slight bow before walking out.

Lilliana walked in few minutes later, she wrapped her hands behind me hugging me tightly.

”Your face look strained, what's making you worried?“ She asked.

I sighed out loudly, ” Our men were attacked, and the supplies were taken. I want to find those rogues so bad and crush them into pieces.“ my fist tightened. Lilliana smiled, her palm on my tightened fist.

”You should take a deep breath and relax. My father will take care of these rogues I'm sure of it."

I believed in the capabilities of Beta Nightfury but the rogues were becoming nuisances with each passing day.

I stared at Lilliana licking my lower lip, she chuckled wrapping her arm round my neck as well.

I took her lips, savoring every corner of her mouth. My hands slipped under her dress and just as expected, she wasn't putting on any panties.

We moved to the bed. She moaned and begged for me to fuck her as I worked her clit.

******

Lilliana pulled the blanket over her. She threw her legs over the bed picking her half shredded gown. The gown could barely cover nothing, she managed it that way and took a glance at my sleeping face before rushing out.

Lilliana used her hand to cover her boobs and the shredded clothes to cover her thigh. Thankfully, it was night, so the palace was not flooding with maids and guards around.

Suddenly, she felt someone pull her arm into a room.

Lilliana looked up at the person with a smile. “I don't think I've had enough. He just doesn't know how to satisfy me like you. We had it for just one hour, and he was already tired.”

The person pulled her closer by her waist, “I waited for you.“

Lilliana pouted her lips, ” Hope you didn't wait for long? I had to make sure he was asleep.“

The person licked their lower lip staring at her naked body. ”I can kill to always see you like this. I hate it whenever I see you with him. Knowing he's touching what's mine is making me want to slit his throat.” He muttered and Lilliana placed a finger on his lip silencing him.

"He's the Alpha you should watch what you say. I don't want you getting in trouble.“ she whispered.

He pulled her closer, her breast touching his chest. ”Are you scared of him?“

Lilliana sighed, ” I thought you pulled me in here to feel better. My pussy is crying for that cock of yours.“ she grabbed his cock in his trouser. ”I can't wait to have you in me, let's get this over with.“

”With pleasure, Luna.“ he grinned carrying her. She wrapped her legs round his waist and he made her back to lean against the wall.

They started to kiss, getting lost in their pleasure.

Lilliana moaned loudly rocking her butt on his hardened cock.

The rest of the night, was pleasure filled for Lilliana. They didn't realize it was morning not until a knock came on the door.

”You can leave.“ The person said and gave her a cloth to put on. They shared a passionate kiss again, and she let out a low moan.

He helped her push the bookshelf revealing a door which she left through.

The door was connected to her room, she pushed the bookshelf walking inside her room and fell on the bed.

“Damn,” she muttered fingering herself. “I don't think I've gotten enough.”

********

Beta Nightfury bowed before me as he walked into my chamber where most pack issues are sorted out.

He turned to the guards behind him and nodded at them.

They went outside and returned with some rogue men completely beaten.

I grinned, a smirk at the corner of my lip. I knew Beta Nightfury was capable of anything. Within few hours, he already found the culprits.

“My Alpha, these rogues were caught trying to sneak into the palace last night. After much torture, they revealed they attacked our men and took their supplies.”

I looked at the rogues, then furrowed my brows ” Weren't they up to 24? I can only see 15 here."

“My Alpha, five tried to escape, and we had them killed. They claimed to have separated from the other four.” Beta Nightfury replied.

“Good, take this ones away, they won't be spared for stealing out supplies. They cost me double all of that supply worth more than their pitiful lives. And they dared to steal it.”

One of the rogues struggled with the guards as they pulled him away.

“Your reign would end soon. You would die a miserable death.” the rogue cursed, his glaring gaze on me.

“Kill that one first.” I ordered.

Right there, Beta Nightfury beheaded him with one slash from his claw. The others shrieked in fear, trembling. No one said another word.

He left with the rogues and the maids followed in to clean the blood stain and his body was taken out.

I rested my elbow on the arm of the chair, and my chin on my palm.

He walked in, his steps quiet, the same arrogant smile on his lip. My younger brother, Matthew.

“I heard you arrived yesterday. Are you just coming to see your Alpha?”

Matthew sneered, staring at the rogue head. He walked past it, then stood before me.

“Long time brother. How does the Alpha seat feel with blood in hands?”

Chapter 198 They reached the pack house, Selene squeezed Lydia’s hand, then let her go to Caius, who lifted her onto his shoulders. Inside the pack house, Lena sank into a chair, in the large sitting room, stretching her legs with a groan. “Long night,” she said, managing a tired grin. Selene laughed softly, settling Lydia onto the couch with a blanket. “You’re telling me.” She glanced at Caius, who was leaning against the wall, watching them quietly . Her mind flicked back to the moment at the house, before the mind link, before Romano. “Hey,” she said, her voice low, “what was it you wanted to tell me back there?” Caius’s eyes softened, a small smile tugging at his lips. He pushed off the wall, crossing the room to her. “Been waiting for the right moment,” he said. Selene’s brow furrowed, “What’re you talking about?” He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he dropped to one knee, pulling a small, worn leather box from his pocket. Selene’s breath caught, her eyes widening as he

His eyes widened as he saw them, scrambling to his feet, but there was nowhere to go. The wall was at his back, and Caius and Selene blocked his only way out. “End of the line,” Caius said, his voice cold. Romano’s lips curled into a sneer, but it was shaky, his bravado crumbling. “You think you’ve got me? I’m not the one you should be worried about.” Selene stepped forward. “Spare us the games, Romano. Who let you out?” He laughed. “No one. I did it myself. You think your little lock could hold me? I’ve been slipping through cracks my whole life.” Caius’s eyes narrowed. “You’re lying. That key didn’t break itself.” Romano’s gaze darted between them, his hands twitching at his sides. “Believe what you want. Doesn’t matter now. You’re too late.” Selene’s patience snapped. She lunged, grabbing his collar and slamming him against the wall

A small crowd of pack members gathered nearby. Selene caught the glint of unease in their eyes as she and Caius approached. “Alpha,” Kael said, stepping forward. His gaze flicked to Selene, then back to Caius. “It’s Romano. He’s gone.” Selene’s stomach dropped. “Gone? How? He was locked up.” Kael’s jaw tightened. “Someone let him out. Don’t know who yet. The guards were knocked out, no serious injuries, but they didn’t see anything. We’re searching for him now.” Caius’s eyes darkened, his voice low. “Any tracks? Scent?” Kael shook his head. “Nothing clear. It’s like he vanished. But the pack’s on edge, they are scared.” Selene glanced at the gathered wolves, she stepped closer to Caius, her voice low. “We need to calm them down before this turns into a mess.” He nodded, his expression hard but focused. “Kael

He was sprawled in a chair nearby, one leg kicked up on the railing, a book open on his lap. His fingers traced the page, but his eyes kept flicking to her, a lazy grin tugging at his lips. “You’re not reading,” she teased, nudging his foot with hers. He chuckled, closing the book with a soft thud. “Caught me. Hard to focus when you’re over there looking like that.” Selene rolled her eyes, but her cheeks flushed. “Smooth talker.” She swung her legs off the swing and stood, brushing her hands on her shorts. “Come on, let’s do something. I’m not sitting here all day.” Caius raised an eyebrow, setting the book aside. “Oh? What’s my Luna got in mind?” She grinned, grabbing his hand and tugging him up. “A walk. Show me around this secret hideout of yours.” He let her pull him along, his fingers lacing through her

Chapter 194 Selene blinked slowly, the morning light stretching through the curtains and casting gentle patterns across the room. Her gaze drifted to the man beside her. Caius. He was lying on his side, his face turned toward hers. The curve of his jaw was strong, his lips, soft and slightly parted as he breathed. She reached out, brushing a finger along his cheek, tracing the roughness that belied his gentleness. Caius stirred. His eyes cracked open slowly, and they found hers in a moment that felt suspended in time. Selene quickly looked away, a heat rising to her cheeks. A low laugh rumbled from him, warm and teasing. He shifted on the bed, settling lightly on top of her, leaning closer until their foreheads almost touched. “You know,” he murmured with a grin, “I’ve always wanted to see how you looked as Sal, again.” Selene scoffed, the sound turning into a laugh as she pushed lightly at his chest. “Never. That’s one thing you will never get to see again.” He chuckled, and

They had nowhere to go after the humans came after them and destroyed their properties. Selene watched him from a distance and walked quietly toward him. “You’ve been standing here too long,” she said softly. He didn’t turn. “I needed to think.” Selene came beside him, folding her arms. “Are you still worried?” Caius exhaled. “They want me to lead them. After everything we’ve lost, they still believe I can fix it.” He finally turned, his eyes meeting hers. “But I’m not that man anymore, Selene. I’m tired of fighting, tired of watching people die because of me.” Selene’s voice was calm. “You think leadership means more blood. But it doesn’t have to. You could rebuild something better, Caius. Something peaceful—for Lydia, for everyone who never got to live.” He shook his head. “And if I fail again?” “You won’t.” She steppe
