The departure hall of John F. Kennedy International Airport buzzed with energy. Travelers rushed to their boarding gates, flight announcements echoed through the terminal, and rolling suitcases glided across the polished floors.

Amid the sea of passengers, one man stood out effortlessly: Adrian Blake, President and CEO of Blake Corporation, one of the nation's most powerful business empires.

Tall, handsome, and dressed in an immaculate, charcoal-gray suit, Adrian walked with the effortless confidence of someone accustomed to total control. Beside him, his secretary, Ethan Cole, kept pace while reviewing the day's schedule on his tablet.

"Mr. Blake," Ethan said, "your meeting with the executives at Nova Care Foods is confirmed for this afternoon."

"Good," Adrian replied, giving a brief nod without slowing his stride.

Meanwhile, Chloe Bennett was darting through the crowded terminal, a stack of research papers tucked under one arm, a hot coffee balanced in her hand, and her phone pressed to her ear.

"I'll be there in an hour," she said breathlessly into the receiver. "I'll explain everything when I arrive."

Hanging up with a sigh, she turned a sharp corner—and collided straight into a wall of charcoal-gray wool.

Bang! The paper cup slipped from her fingers, splashing hot coffee across the front of Adrian’s suit.

The immediate area seemed to fall silent. Chloe’s heart plummeted.

"Oh my goodness, I am so sorry!" she gasped, hurriedly grabbing tissues from her bag. "I wasn't looking where I was going!"

Adrian looked down at the dark stain spreading across his custom suit, his jaw tightening. "This is absurd," he muttered in a icy, detached voice.

The coldness in his tone instantly spiked Chloe's temper. She stopped dabbing at his suit and looked up into a pair of piercing, freezing eyes.

"What did you just say?" she demanded.

Ethan quickly stepped in to defuse the rising tension. "Please, miss, don't misunderstand," he said politely. "He wasn't referring to you."

"Then what was he talking about?" Chloe asked, frowning.

Adrian offered no explanation. He simply gave her a cool, dismissive look—as if she were nothing more than a minor inconvenience—before walking past her without another word.

Ethan gave Chloe an apologetic smile before hurrying after his boss.

Chloe crossed her arms, watching his retreating back. "What an arrogant man," she thought.

A short while later, Adrian sat in the back of his luxury sedan as Ethan reviewed the rest of the day's itinerary. As they drove past a massive digital billboard featuring a famous actor holding a packaged food item, Adrian’s eyes narrowed.

"What is that?" Adrian asked, staring out the window. "The advertisement looks nice, but what are they actually selling? The celebrity is stealing all the attention from the product."

Ethan examined the ad and nodded. "You're right, sir."

"Find out who approved that campaign," Adrian commanded coldy. "Immediately."

Across the city at Nova Care Foods, Chloe was hard at work in the product development lab. The sharp scent of preserved mackerel filled the air as she painstakingly logged data from several food samples lined up on her workstation.

Her phone vibrated with a call from Victoria Hayes, the Deputy Manager of the Development Team.

"Chloe, where are you?" Victoria asked.

"Still in the lab finishing the mackerel analysis," Chloe replied.

"I need you in the conference room right away."

"On my way!"

Chloe gathered her notes and jogged down the hallway, breathless by the time she met Victoria outside the conference room.

Victoria took one look at her, raised an eyebrow, and sniffed the air. Within seconds, a few nearby colleagues joined in, sniffing before bursting into laughter.

"Oh no..." Chloe blushed, sniffing her own lab coat sleeve. "Do I smell like fish?"

"You smell exactly like fish," one of the researchers chuckled, pulling a bottle of body mist from his desk drawer and handing it to her. "Here, you need this more than I do."

The group shared a warm laugh as Chloe accepted the spray, her cheeks burning.

Victoria placed a gentle hand on Chloe's shoulder, smiling kindly. "It might be a little embarrassing, Chloe, but it just goes to show how dedicated you are. Hard work always leaves a mark."

Chloe smiled softly, feeling the day's heavy stress finally begin to melt away.
