Emma

When I step into the room, the first thing I see is her. Pale smooth skin, full breasts, a short gown that hugs her figure in all the right places, tossed hair, blowjob lips, crackling blue eyes, flushed cheeks and a slightly skewed dress. She radiates innocence and yet she is loaded with sensuality. She is intriguing and so damn beautiful I am livid. What the fuck was she doing here alone with my husband? And what the fuck were they up to before I came in?

My smile is sticky sweet on my lips as I enter fully into the room.

“I’m so sorry I’m late. I heard we had a visitor so I rushed here as fast as I could.”

It is hard to get a whiff of her scent, she is so pathetically weak. I pull my lips back from a sneer and keep the smile. When I finally catch her scent, everything clicks into place.

I turn my smile on my unimpressed husband while my brain fires furiously. I’ve scented her before, only once, when she marked him. The audacity of the bitch to follow him all the way to his home, to his Luna. Has she no shame?

She marked him, and he let her. No way, could she be his mate?

“Emma. I’ll call you when I need you.” My Alpha says and I bow my head.

A dismissal, because of her?

“Oh no it’s fine!” The girl interjects, ridiculously nice. “She can stay. You must be the Luna of Blood-bound pack.”

I smile and shake her outstretched hand, ignoring my Alpha.

“I am.”

So the bitch does know he has a Luna, and she put a mark on him anyway. I will gouge out her eyes and feed them to the crows. He is mine.

“Emma Larry. And you are?”

“Celine Dontellar, of The Creed pack.”

My brows rise imperceptibly. A Dontellar, one of the three sisters then? I’m shocked at the power coming off her if she is, I would expect a daughter of Alpha Dontellar to pack more of a punch.

“It is so nice to meet you.” She says.

Is it?  So nice your lips are red from my husband’s kisses?

I smile and lean in for a quick hug.

“The pleasure is all mine Celine. I can call you that right?”

“Of course.” She says, her smile straining. Good.

“I’ve heard alot about Alpha Dontellar and the Creed pack, and I can’t wait to hear more from you.”

She laughs and even her laughter is sexy. In my fantasy, I bitch-slap it out of her mouth.

“There isn’t much to say but I’ll oblige you.”

“And of course, I must give you a tour of the pack house before the end of today. I assume you will be leaving by tomorrow?”

I ask as nicely as I could, my smile straining because of Alpha Lor’s eyes on me. The male has always had the ability to see right through me.

“Uhmm...” She catches her lip and my heart pounds in anxiety.

“She will not be leaving tomorrow.” Alpha Lor says and my heart twists painfully.

“Oh yeah?”

We are both looking at him but his eyes are on her, a hidden message passing between them. I feel sick and I want to kill her on the spot.

“Her business here will be taking a little longer than that.” He says. That’s because you want to fuck her you cheating bastard.

He cannot claim her. I regulate my breathing and console myself with that. I feel like laughing really, whose sick joke is this? His mate is a handspan away from him and he will never be able to claim her. My lips curve and I finally smile genuinely.

“Have her room prepared.” He orders.

“I’m sorry.” She says, so nice and so damn irritating. “I hope I won’t be intruding too much on your hospitality.”

Die bitch, taking advantage of my hospitality to hump my husband and she asks if I’m fine with it.

“Of course not.” I say with a small laugh. “Stay as long as you want. There is a lot of space in the pack house.”

“Thank you.”

“I’ll see you soon.” I say. “Alpha.” I nod to him and go back the way I came.

When the door closes behind me, I stomp away, practically seeing red.

Why, why, why is this happening?

I head straight to my room and bang the door closed, breathing hard as the lock clicks.

I grab the vase by the door and haul it across the room, satisfied at the sound of the crashing and the accompanying tinkling of glass shattering everywhere.

“Fucking bitch!!” I scream, not bothered about being heard. The walls are insulated against wolf ears.

I drop to the couch and drop my face in my hands, realising I am shaking.

Alpha Lor has always underestimated me. He must think I’m very stupid not to have realised that it’s the same female he fucked, a female I think is his mate. Or maybe he just doesn’t care. I see his eyes again as he looked at her, heated and more alive than they have ever been in the years we have been together. Why couldn’t he ever look at me like that? I’m not nobody to him, I’m his Luna and I’m the person he needs most in his life. Why has he never ever looked at me with such amazement before?

A knock sounds on the door.

“Leave me!” I yell and the maidservant scampers away.

I grab a priceless glass piece off my nightstand and hurl it across the room again. I want to rip into my room till there’s nothing left but I hold myself back and stride to the window, gulping down fresh air.

I can’t lose him.

I worked so hard to get him in the first place. Nobody knows what it took to make myself an omega powerful enough to get his attention. An omega powerful enough to soothe his beast. It took raw power and then some. I have sacrificed a lot and I have earned my status as the Luna of the Blood-bound pack. And now, some spoilt little female thinks she can waltz in here, bat her lashes and claim my throne. I earned it and I will keep it.

After everything I have done, I refuse to lose him to anyone, not even his mate.

A bird lands on the ledge of the opposite window and my eyes narrow on its tiny body. I raise a hand and power rises to my fingertips. She tries to take off but my power has seized hold of her. She panics, her tiny eyes bulging when her body refuses to obey her mind’s command to fly.

My rouged lips curve into a smirk of satisfaction as my power lashes out and the bird drops to the ground below, lifeless. The dark energy thrums in my veins, calming me down.

I always knew there was a possibility of him finding his mate of course. In fact, I’m prepared for it. Only one of us can claim the male, and by the goddess it will be me.

Neem "I thought you would be done dressing up. We are going to be late." I tell Aden. "These buttons are hell." He mutters. "There should be about a hundred buttons on here.""Hardly." I say, amused. "There are only fifteen."Our clothes in Lyria never had buttons and it's always amusing that something so simple always gives him so much trouble. "Might as well be a hundred." He mutters and shaking my head, I go to help. He stares down at me as I work one button to the next. "You are staring.""I can't help it, you're beautiful." He says and I smile. "One would think you were only seeing me for the first time.""It feels like that sometimes." He says. "Sometimes I wake up amazed to have you by my side.""Only sometimes?" I tease him and he laughs. "Come here." He pulls my lips to his and kisses me and I forget about the buttons as I hold on, revelling in the movement of his lips on mine. I moan when his tongue darts in to taste me and his hands clench conclusively on my ass. "D

EmmaOne of the creatures runs at us, foaming at the mouth and bleeding from a dozen cuts. Celine intercepts him and kills him and I stare at her. “They said you controlled these creatures. Control them and end this wretched war.”She shakes her head. “It’s not that easy anymore. I was able to control them when my cat was dominant, when they absorbed my wolf. Someone donated her energy to bring back my wolf, but she neglected to mention that I would lose control of the soldiers when she is restored. I wouldn’t have it any other way anyway.”I sneer. “How pathetic. Of what use are you with your wolf then? You should sacrifice her to save hundreds of lives if need be but you are nothing but selfish as ever.”Her brows rise. “I’m not receiving a lecture on selflessness from you, am I? Now I have seen it all.”Behind us, Lor finally rips the king’s heart out with a roar. The war seems to stop for a second, everyone watching as he twists his head off his throat and sends it flying. And t

Celine They are unending. It is as if the entire world has moved against the Island. My soldiers are not enough, and so people of Lyria have joined, fighting against the enemy but they are lacking in spirit. Perhaps because they have been broken down by the economy but they fall like corn stalk against the enemy. I keep soldiers on their leader constantly, but he is not the only one to be worried about. My soldiers tear into most of the soldiers before they have a chance to defend themselves but too many of them are experienced killers, cutting through our numbers in swaths. I glance behind me but the king and the Whisperer are now gone from their perch, and then finally the harpies are released. Terrible terrible creatures that can ice the blood in your veins with a touch. Where they go, death follows, immortals shrivelling up and dying in numbers. And yet more of their army comes. There are about ten of the harpies and I’m surprised when one of them streams from the ground right i

CelineI feel it when Ismir dies, like a lance directly into my heart. I scream in pain and my attack falters. No. I look back, knowing I will not find him at he balcony he once occupied with his father and the Whisperer. My eyes meet his father’s and I wonder if he knows. My distraction costs me. Strong arms wrap around me from behind and I’m plastered hard against a male chest. “Stand back.” He orders the creatures, keeping them in front of us and me as a shield between them. They angle and pace, the front liners reluctant to attack and skewer me. “What do you think you are doing?” I grit out, trying to break out of his grip but he’s too strong. “You’re coming back with me.” He says, shuffling back. I burst into laughter, a little hysterical. “Are you daft as fuck? You want to leap through the barrier to freedom? The both of us will die before our next breath.”“I passed through the barrier to get here.” He says, his voice resolved. “By some freak accident. You will not be so

EmmaHe has grown so much in three days alone, this baby that has become my last surviving shield.“Dan!” I snap, heading to the balcony. “Yes, Emma.” She says from where she balances precariously on the ledge, not even bothering to look up. I thought the female stuck to my side because she had grown a soft side for me, as I have worked hard to lower her guard. I should have known better, she is an omega herself, an emotional fortress. Since the end of the three days that we raised Alaric, she has completely withdrawn, not even bothering to stand for any other person but the little brat. ”You said the three days were all we needed to ensure his survival.”“Yes. Your boy is stronger than a horse.” She says, raising her face to the sun. “Mama!” The culprit comes toddling out, holding chubby little hands out to me with a grin. I stare at him, my face going sour. “So why the hell does he still follow me around everywhere?!” I ask in dismay. I can’t look across a room without finding h

  • The demon wolf’s Affair   142. The Whispering Crystals

Neem“You found the source.” He says. His voice is cold and the way he is looking at me scares me. I affect a light tone. “Prince Ismir-““I cannot allow you to live.” Chills race down my spine and I laugh awkwardly. “What are you talking about?” I say, my voice pleading. I always knew my inquisitiveness would land me in trouble one day. I cannot believe the day is finally here. “Why do you always have to go around snooping and putting yourself in situations you have no business being in?”“I’m sorry!” I say, taking a step forward. “I’m sorry okay? This will never happen again.”“You are right, it won’t.” He says and then he shifts. I scream and dive to the side as he leaps, coming up on my knee and watching him nearly crash into the crystals. He sidesteps them in a precarious move in the last second and spins around, furious. I’ve never seen him shift, and for good reason, I realise. That is no wolf, he looks like he belongs amongst the deformities on the front line. He is thre
