1-Approval.

James POV.

The world has changed once, then changed again, and when everyone thought this is the final shape of the world, it changed yet again. Supernatural are a thing, everyone expected that, they could blame the aliens all they want, but it's the supernatural who ruled this world, they were in charge and humans just had to believe it and live with their new reality.

Werewolves are not that different from humans, they got their beliefs in an end and in soulmates, they also got a bad one, bad apples, they are called rogues, wolves who couldn't stay in charge of their wolf side, wolves who gave up to a feral state.

Some are born that way, and others are pushed into being rogues, but the thing is, rogues are sick, and as a doctor it's my job and duty to try and heal them, to find a cure for the stubborn disease, to put end to so many people suffering and hurt.

My name is James Black, a doctor at Moon and howl company and I decided to start my research on ways to heal the unfortunate rogues.

I belong to the alpha and owner of the company alpha Thaila Runnalf, it took me years to get her approval and funds for my search. She has only agreed after she got her own little, no one would say it out loud, but the bitch alpha is nicer ever since she found her true love and mate, the little boy made everyone's life easier and better.

Now back to the research, I tried everything, I tried psychological treatment, anti-depressant, chock therapy, I tried everything the human and wolf mind would think about.

Even chemotherapy to heal the sick brain, the sick cells in the body that are driving the wolves to insanity, but nothing has worked so far, until my latest discovery.

The wolf brain goes through maturing phases just like the human brain, but the only difference is the body of a wolf changes depending on their brain, when a puppy is young if taught to be submissive they'd most likely turn that way, taught to be dominant and violent, their body would show signs of being more dominant, even their aura would change. A rogue wolf aura is a sick aura, one that's stuck on defense dominating mode, now if we push them back to their pre-maturing phase and teach them to be submissive, we'll be able to do a break-in and turn the rogues back to normal, or normal-ish.

"So explain this again for me?" Peter the company vice-president and alpha Thaila's personal friend and cousin say looking at me confused.

"We capture a rogue," I say but of course, the man had a reply to everything I said.

"That would be hard," he says, I had to hold from rolling my eyes yes at him, he had an army behind him and still he acts like they were going toward this blind and alone.

"We'll catch a small rogue, preferably a young one," I continue, the younger rogue would be easier to deal with, even when a born rogue, they don't reach the max of being violent until they are much older, but it'll also help with my plan.

"Young and small, make her she too, girls are always smarter and would give you a better chance," Peter says, most alphas are women, they are smarter for sure.

"Yes, now to the next step, we'll take her preferably into a safe environment," I continue, hospital was out of the question, it'll be too stressful for what we're trying to achieve.

"Okay, the company can guarantee a safe environment," he says, nodding I continue the plan, taking notes of everything they said to me.

"The next step is to inject her with enough sedative to make her docile enough for the next step," it's not the easiest part, but it has to be done.

"Sedate her? Why would you do that, I thought the treatment is supposed to help her," Peter says angrily, I was losing him and losing my permission to continue his experiment.

"Peter, to get to the subconscious of the girl we need her to trust us, we'll need to heal any kind of injuries she had before coming to us, that could only be done if she's sedated for the first week or so," I explained to him again.

"Okay, then what?" he asks getting irritated, he didn't want to hear the rest, this is always the worse part.

"We'll be trying to connect to her subconscious, once she's healthy enough and ready for the next step we'll have to break her rogue spirit," I say, yes it gets worse before it gets better.

"Break her?" he says, rogues have their own aura, they don't respect anyone, not an alpha, not a submissive, they are loners, with the fight switch turned on the whole time.

"We need to break her aura to push her toward a new one, one that would include a dominant and a small pack," I say, this is the hardest part of the whole experience, the ones before are heartbroken, but this is the most critical part, to push her brain, mind, soul, and spirit back to a pack position where they'd be in a younger headspace.

"And then?" he says interested again, pushing a rogue back into a pack is impossible, it's what we've been taught our whole life.

"After we manage to bring her back to the pack mentality, we'll be able to work with her on a psychological and physical level. We'll monitor her vitals, enzymes, her whole body, we'll find the part in her body that caused the rogueness and fix it," I say, everyone goes rogue for a different reason, whether it's bad genetic, a big trauma, or a physical disease.

"Is this plan guaranteed?" The alpha asks, it's the first time she talked since this meeting began, she looked different than she did before, alpha Thalia used to be the coldest bitch alive, then Colin came in, and he broke his way into her cold heart.

But years after losing her own sister to the rogue disease, this topic is a sensitive one, it brings the worse inside her out.

"Nothing is guaranteed alpha, but from what we gathered and our studies, there's an eighty percent chance, depending on the reason why the individual went rogue," I explain, all I wanted was a chance to fix one rogue, to show the word they could be healed.

"You got my approval," the alpha says in her firm voice, it was a done deal finally.
