Alpha Drew was about to have dinner with his mate Sandra when his messenger walked in with a letter for him.
"Who sent it?" he asked the younger man after collecting the brown envelope.
"Alpha Anthony's daughter" replied.
Drew studied the envelope a while before hesitantly opening it after sending the messenger away.
The content in it riled him up and he wondered soberly what was going on with his fellow Alpha.
If the note wasn't signed by Silvana he would have a tough time believing the words written on the page.

"What are you doing?" Myles asked, wondering what Abel was doing staring out the window at midnight. They have both been unable to sleep and he hasn't sat down for once since they entered the room. The plan was to stay the night and go back in the early hours of the morning. He has been restless for the entire night and his behavior is getting Myles worried. "Something is wrong but I can't lay a finger on it," he replied after some time. "In a couple of hours more we will be out of here, whereas silvana was sleeping when we left so what harm could come to her" Myles said in a reassuring manner.
