Loathefiya was now in her study room coloring pictures. Her Mother came inside and said, "Come on dear let's get ready".
"Ready?" asked Loathefiya "Ready for what?"
Her Mother carried her and answered "For an out picnic" She left the room and went to her room. Ringing a bell and a few seconds later a maid arrived,
She said, "Yes Madam".
"Ready my daughter and ready a large basket for our picnic"
The maid minded by hearing this then she sighed and said "Come to me".
Loathefiya looked at her Mother then she went to the maid and they left the room. She took her to the next room and began to dress her well. While doing that, she talked
"I don't understand, is it important to do this?
Do we have to listen to them?
We are maids doesn't that means that we should work even the smallest work in the house?"
She readied her and said, "Go now to your Mother".
"Thank you," Loathefiya said and went out with thoughts in her mind, "What did she mean by that?
She ran downstairs to her Mother who was waiting for her outside and a maid was standing by her. The Mother said "I am going out so take care of the house" The maid nodded.
They sat inside their large car the maid placed the basket in and stepped out.
The engine raced and the car drove on.
The car drove near a garden, both came out. Loathefiya ran inside the garden happily. Her Mother came near and said "Let's go and sit on a chair" She nodded. They sat inside a gazebo.
The lady suggested her daughter go and play.
Loathefiya ran to the playground and started to play with the kids. She offered a girl, "Let's have a ride in the swing".
A girl sat on the swing and Loathefiya started with a push. The girl was laughing and every child was having fun.
Then suddenly a lady came and stopped the swing. Both the girls looked up at her. The girl said, "Mother what is it?"
the lady carried her child and said "Don't play with this girl. She's from a bad and greedy family".
At the same time, other children's parents came and took away their children off the ground.
Loathefiya was just standing alone.
She smiled and said "Maybe the parents are playing with me?" she followed them.
After a long search, she found them. In an open area, many people were sitting together with their families and having their lunches. The little girl went among them, roaming around happily.
Some parents who saw her glared at her turning away their faces. But, the child was too decent to analyze such hatred and anger of the foes around her. Every tiny step was growing her a new enemy without any sense for her to feel it.
Pacing away, the little rose arrived near the walls of the garden she said, putting her soft hand on the rough wall, "I will use this wall and return" While walking she saw a herb of the iris. She stopped near it and said happily "I shall pick some flowers for Mommy" She began to pluck.
Just on the opposite side of the wall, three distance away, four men were standing near a car.
One man said, "So the man of the richest family is not yet, ready to give back the money".
The second said, "he takes money but, does not returns it. And due to that our town is in too bad poverty thus, it's hard for the Mayor too, in paying everyone".
The third man said "I don't understand him. What is in him that he is doing like this? Doesn't he care for others? He doesn't even pay his servants. He says that the Mayor will pay you all, why should I trouble myself?"
The fourth man said, "That's the problem he doesn't care for anyone. He needs a lesson to be taught".
The first man asked, "What happened to a dialogue with him about the death line?"
The fourth man answered, "We are going to talk with him to make him understand and if he didn't listen the Mayor has decided to kill him and take away everything he has".
The second man said "That's what he deserves" All men laughed together, went inside the car, and drove away.
Loathefiya heard everything "Kill?" She was confused, not understanding what is treat behind this dangerous word, "what does that mean? And that man got to know what's going to happen to him if only I knew who it was". She finished taking her irises and ran away to her Mother.
Her Mother was standing and waiting for her.
"Mommy," she said running to her and stopping near her. Her Mother carried her and walked on without a word.
Loathefiya said, "Mother I brought this for you".
"Thank you dear," her Mother said "Now let's go back home we are getting late" They went to their car and drive back home.
When they reached home, a man was waiting near the entrance. The Mother said "Wait here Loathefiya" She went to him and asked rudely "What is it now? I said you will get your payment just wait".
The man sat on his knees and begged like a hopeless man, "Please I don't have any money left to feed my family. They are severed from hunger. I can't even pay the bills. Please give me my payment I can't bare to see them going to school without food.
If I don't pay the fee on time they might leave their school, miss a lesson and won't get friends again.
Please Madam I beg you to give me my payment I haven't got them for a few years. I have used all the money in the house not, even a fils is left, please!
Madam! you are the richest people in the whole town even much richer than the Mayor's family. Please I ask you to give me my payment".
The lady was looking at him with a proud face. She said "Is there any more sad stupid story you want to trick me with" The man got completely shocked with tears flowing down his eyes.
She took out a coin and said "Have this one and go?" she went inside.
The man was so angry that he said with full hatred "curse you with your death" he walked away passing Loathefiya.
She looked at him and thought "What does he mean by this?" she went inside.
She came running to a young girl who was making a glass of milk. She hugged her on her legs and said "I caught you".
She turned and sat down and said "It's your milk time drink it and show me that you are grown."
The girl was a special baby setter for the child. Loathefiya took the glass and drank it. Then she stood straight stretching her feet up and said "I am grown" The girl laughed and caught her hands and said,
"Come let's change and then sleep" Loathefiya held her hands and was walking with her, jumping happily in every step. The Mother came out of her room and was looking at them from behind, thinking.
If there is someone begging you like this, what will you do? How will be your reaction? Let me what you feel in your comments?
“It’s sad to see you go through all that...” Beth said, breaking the silence. The boy gazed back at her and nodded with a light smile.****Not everyone can feel each other’s pain.Only those who are, who have, and who have faced the same fate will understand the agony and try to resolve with them. That can be either in an irking way or a graceful way.****“But, they are an end to my sorrow,” he continued, taking the two’s attention, “After years of struggling in the dirt, surviving to eating and drinking I was finally rescued by someone. He took me into his house, cleaned me up, and offered the best he could. At first, I thought he was a pity for me and felt discomfort from him. I hate to gain mercy and pity from people around me because of my arms. But, I was wrong, he did not do all that for piety but he took me like his firm duty to be performed and did not care about any comment from me.It took me some time to adjust with him like I would scream at him or shout at him not to tou
They could not tolerate my condition. They wanted everything to be done fast and perfectly on time.I commit a lot of mistakes in their eyes. During training, I would try my best not to drop the object that had been given to me to use, or keep a strong hold on the staff while their eagle eyes would be locked at me….I could feel the vibes of the stare filled with rage, irritation, and frustration.Trying everything perfect was their first rule and I was the first one to fail it. Even if I dropped it, they would cure me and leave me alone. If I couldn’t do it or shout in agony, they would all call me useless. As I was growing, resulting in everything in failure, they decided to go through medical checks for once… but that was enough to ruin my life and turn my days into hell. When I was checked and asked for better treatment for my arms, the doctors approved no recovery and I would be like this my entire life. This was the greatest hopelessness I felt and it was the reason that I got
“There is no need for you two to speak your names. I do not wish to get to know your identities or to be shared. We shall soon depart from each other so it’s better we stay strangers.” suggested Glenn with a smile. “But, you are too friendly to be a stranger.” said Beth her true feelings, “we cannot take it this way...” The boy named Glenn chuckled and said, “Do it for me. It will be alright. And for the questions….” he sat straight answering, “your first question..what do you want? I want nothing from you two. I got along with te officer requesting him to save you two. I wanted to save you two from the hell of the street. It seems necessary cause the world does not see girls as humans anymore. They chase them like wolves. Anything would be possible against you two because you are girls The biggest example is that man who was about to kidnap you.” he was aiming at Beneatha whose eyes were dull in fear. Her sister gazed at her and asked the boy, “Are we that bad? To be a girl
"No worries" shook the boy his head as he stood up, suggesting in front of teh two sisters, "How about we wait in the restaurant for the officer to retrieve us, what do you think?" ""THE POLICEMAN! startled both sisters when Beth asked in terror, "Will he arrest us too?" "No.np. Don't worry. He still has some work to do regarding you two. ence, we should wait for him.: he cleared her and looked around, "How about we take a seat somewhere and wait until he arrives?" Both girls gazed at him when Beth again asked, "What if he can't find us? He is here for us as you told us. Will he be lost like the two of us?" The boy was surprised by this when he replied gently smiling, "No, he won't be. He knows us well. Ans to make teh matter clear he asked me to wait for him in any nearby restaurant along with you two until he is back.He has arranged the place. Come one. Let's get going shall we?" he presented his hand. Both looked at each other in worry. Without any words exchanged, both agr
“Why are you two wandering in this wide world alone?Preparing to be a feast for someone else or are you trying to act brave which does not suit you…”Smirked the man.“That doesn’t concern you…” replied the aggressive girl which he didn’t know was making a mistake.“OH! It does, concerns me, my little girl.” Smirked the stranger, “I have to make sure you did not run off on your own. It’s dangerous to be allowed outside at night you.”This terrified the two girls.Beneatha held on to her sister making herself a defense wall between her sister and the man.The stranger stepped out of the shadows with a rope in his hand.He paced towards them as he increased his steps. His ugly face was twisted into an evil smile as he got closer to the two girls.Beth lost the feelings on her feet, turning solid on her ground due to fear. She started shivering getting her eyes locked at the approaching man.Immediately, upon realizing this, Beneatha pushed her back on the girl, trying to make her run w
There is a saying that goes: {Our parents leave us early, and our guardians and spouse respond to us late but, our siblings are the only ones who stay by our side.} A statement similar to this one was displayed for the two sisters. Even though their mother had left them and gone somewhere, these two sisters were the wall and roofs remaining for each other. Thou, both were arguing among themselves however, tears, a symbol of flowing sadness, cooled down their rage of ignorance among them. As a result, making them stay as a shadow of each other. As Beneatha went on weeping, Beneatha grew surprised and said inwards, “I…. I did not know that even my brave sister could cry like that….” Her shoulders drowned as she continued, “I know she was always the bravest and the kind-hearted one to us, especially to me… She would always encourage me when I felt failure, and stay by my side to heal my wounds. She was always there to clear up my tears if someone hurt me and would always smile f
