Chapter 10

Kiaan was going back to his home after finalising Mehak for his film. 

Kiaan was finding a new face to launch who has the capability to do acting properly. It's not only about beautiful faces but about talent as well. 

At least he believes in that. He wasn't satisfied with Pihu at all because she was trying to seduce him more than working. 

He was thinking of replacing her and then that incident happened. 

He isn't happy that it happened like that he didn't want her to be hospitalised but he is happy that she is replaced. 

And when he saw mahek for the first time in the hotel where he was gone to meet his sister's fiancé and fixed the engagement date. 

he noticed something in her. He doesn't know exactly what but he finds her different. She was working despite her injured feet. That's a sign of how hardworking she is. 

After Pihu's accident he was going to start the auditions as he is the producer himself of this movie and acting as the male lead as well. 

But for some reason he has to go out of town. 

And while being outside he was watching some new short films to find someone from there and he saw Mehak. 

Her acting skills were good and natural. She is perfect and flawless but he didn't tell her this because he doesn't want her to be too proud of her looks or skill. 

He was impressed by her skills and saw every short film she did. 

He ran a background check on her to know more about her and got to know about her struggles. 

He has decided to take her as his heroine but he didn't want to approach her… 

He wanted her to think that it's a coincidence that she got selected suddenly. 

Because a direct proposal from kiaan Mehrotra can make anyone egoistic. 

By knowing her background he felt bad for her and felt kind of sympathetic but it didn't affect his decision of choosing her. 

And today when they were saying those dialogues he felt like she wasn't reciting some prewritten words but saying something from her heart. The way she looks at his eyes straight makes him feel like she can see his soul. 

And in the end when she said those self made lines kiaan was awestruck. 

She was a born actress who could not shine because of some greedy people and less chances. 

She is a star who is made to shine and he will make her shine that he promised himself. 

"Sir we have reached." his driver said and kiaan nodded 

He came out of the car and went inside his luxurious mansion. 

"hello, bhai," he heard his one and only sister Kavya's voice 

"hey baby girl what are you doing here?" kiaan asked her 

"Why can't I come to meet my elder brother if it's forbidden for me? 

" Kavya asked narrowing her eyes 

"no my baby girl it's not like that. I am just surprised that you came here this time. As I knew you were busy with your modeling assignments right?" Kiaan asked 

"yeah I am but I took a day off because I'm exhausted with all the work." Kavya whined 

"aww my baby girl is exhausted, what should we do to make her feel good?" Kiaan asked her 

"nothing just made my favourite pasta that you made and yes I want ice cream a lot of it. Today I want to ditch my diet plan." Kavya said smiling 

"As my baby sis says just let me freshen up then I will make it and then we can watch some movies as well." kiaan said and she smiled 

"perfect idea," Kavya said 

Kiaan was going to his room when Kavya call him 

"bhai listen," Kavya said 

"Yes?" he asked her turning towards him 

"did you go to meet her?" Kavya asked hesitated 

Kiaan's expression changed.. 

"no I didn't," Kiaan said and go in his room 

He took shower and changed into comfortable clothes. 

His sister's words did affect him but he didn't let that show in his face. 

He went downstairs happily and saw his sister sitting on the couch. 

"baby girl come in the kitchen and help me to cook." Kiaan said and Kavya got up from her seat 

"OK bhai let's go," Kavya said cheerfully 

Both siblings made food together well. Basically it's Kiaan who did everything but Kavya also helped him by cutting the veggies and giving the spices and most importantly tasting the food. 

Both siblings sat at the dining table and Kavya served both of them. 

"So bhai I heard that you found your new heroine," Kavya said 

"yeah it's the same hotel girl whom with I bumped," Kiaan said 

"oh, wow so now you're casting a waitress? I mean if she is that talented then why working as a waitress?" Kavya asked 

"Kavya, not everyone is like us who got everything in a snap of our fingers. That girl has had too much struggle and faced the casting couch many times. And I only see capability, you know it." Kiaan said clearly not liking his sister's opinion 

"chill bhai I was just pulling your leg. I had seen her short film when I got to know that you selected her. She really did a great job in that. She truly deserves this opportunity. and I know you only see capability nothing else" Kavya said with a bright smile 

Both ate their food and then settled on the movie room couch. 

"what you want to watch?" kiaan asked 

"fifty shades of grey," Kavya said winking 

"Really? I thought you would say ''After '' as it's your favourite." Kiaan said 

"if you know that's my favourite then why are you even asking me? You know how much I love my Hardin Scott (a character from After movie) uff he is hot.. If I got a chance I would have married him but anyways start the movie." Kavya said 

"You have become bold, praising Boys in front Of your elder brother." Kiaan commented 

"bhai I only like one character and I gush on him not like you who had….."Kavya stopped abruptly but continued 

" never mind start the movie, "saying she stuff her mouth with Belgium chocolate ice cream. 

Kiaan shook his head and started the movie. 

Both siblings watched the movie together and ate ice cream.
