The sweet tune

Derek was nibbling on a biscuit. Zane was eating an apple.

"You know....I really liked Daisy",said Derek, all of a sudden

"I think, by now, everyone knows that. Come on, Derek you could not have made it any more obvious",said Zane smiling

"Hey you're smiling.....that's a genuine smile",said Derek, smiling too. "You haven't done that since we came here"

"Well, I didn't have any reason to smile until now"

"Woah, man, are you smiling because of me? Do you have a man crush on me?",asked Derek laughing

"Get over yourself dude",grinned Zane

"So, did you have a good relationship with your parents?"

Zane frowned at the suddenness of the question. He was silent for a little while but then he opened his mouth and closed it again. Derek didn't seem to mind. He kept on eating biscuits.

"I...I loved them",croaked Zane

"Oh...it must have been nice",said Derek

"It- it was...",said Zane. "Until I lost them"

"They are still watching over you. The ones we love never truly ever leave us
