3. Beach

Preeti's point of view 

"Bhabhi..Are you ready? Bhayi is waiting for you in living room." Keerti said while walking inside my room.

After coming home from the shopping I prepared the snacks for Mom and Nate aunty and after that I started preparing the dinner for everyone and inform Nancy to serve dinner to everyone on time.

I hide the lingerie under my closet between my clothes so no one can find it. I am not going to use ut. I am too shy to wear this infront of Siddharth.

Siddharth came home just an hour ago. I gave him his evening coffee and he told me to get ready for our dinner date.

"Yeah..almost.." I said while wearing my earrings matching with my net plane red anarkali. I tucked my dupatta around my neck and applied red Matt lipstick.

Siddharth like red on me. So I decided  to wear something red.



"Hey..How was your meeting with European designers?" I asked her while opening the lid of small vermillion box.

I took a small pinch of vermillion and fill in my hair partition. 

It completes me.

"They rejected my designs. They said I am still a kid so my designs are also immature but sera requested to give me another chance. So after lot of convincing, they gave me a second and last chance." She huffed.

"Don't worry you'll do the great next time." I said with a smile while patting her cheek lovingly.

"Let's hope." She said and stretched her lips in a thin line.

"You ready..?"

We both turned and looked towards room's door.

Siddharth was standing there all ready and ready to fail many women's heart only just his looks.

His dark Jacket over a light button up shirt and rolled sleeves over his Jacket, perfect gelled hair giving him a model look and don't forget upper three buttons of his shirt giving a perfect view of his hard yet beautiful chest. His manly rich cologne reached my nostrils and I just wanted to buried myself in the crook of his neck so can inhale his scent forever.

God damn can't  he look less handsome and attractive..

It should be ban to look this handsome.

His lips curled into a smirk when he caught me checking him out.

Ring....Ring 

Ring...Ring 

Someone's phone ring disturb our gaze. I lowered my head and felt a warmth on my cheeks.

"I have to take this. I'll see you guys later." Keerti walked out of our room while talking on phone.

"If you are done checking me out, shell we go?" He mocked me.

I cheeks turned into tomato red. I lowered my head and nodded.

He chuckled softly while lowering his head.

"Come..." he said and stretched his hand to me.

I slowly walked to him and put my hand on his. He held my hand firmly and give a soft kiss on my right cheek.

"You are looking damn beautiful." He said and peck on my left cheek softly.

I smiled shyly and put my head on his chest. He pull me to him by my waist and hugged me tightly and inhale my scent.

"Let's go before I change my mind and start making out with you." He inhaled again my scent and pull off from the hug.

"Where are we going?" I asked him when he hopped inside the car and sit on the driving seat.

"Beach.." he said while buckling his seatbelt.

"Beach..?"

"Yup.. Nick, james and I used to spend our weekends on beach. I want to you to show some places where I used to go in my teenage." He said while igniting the car engine and started driving.

Being a billionaire you can go any fancy restaurant and show off your money but not everyone is the same. Siddharth is a billionaire but his nature is down to earth and this is the thing of him I love so much.

He loves so much to a simple middle class Indian girl like me. He loves his family so much that he was being through a hell for two years and support his family when there was no one beside him to help him emotionally. He treats his friends like a brother and keerti is like a daughter to him. He can do anything to protect his little sister and I know he will love our would be daughter so much.

Sometimes I thought that I have done many good things in my previous life that I have Siddharth as my husband and his love for me, make me luckiest girl in the world.

It's almost a twenty minutes of driving, none of us said anything. Soft music is playing in background and we both are stealing glances from each other. We both gave a smile to each other when our eyes  met.

After 45 minutes of driving Siddharth parked the car  and step out. I also opened the door and step out from the car. He hold my hand and intertwine our fingers.

Ocean look dark and scary in night but the lights from the street lamps and shops give make it less scary. 

It's already 8 p.m but people are still roaming around and playing on the beach and giving the life to this beach.

There are some food stalls and shops at the one side of the beach. Soft music are playing at one shop.

A group of a tenager sitting around the bonfire. One of them playing guitar and some of them dancing around the bonfire.

At one side two family are doing barbeque while their children are playing in sand. They are look like a tourist.

"This beach is always busy like this. This beach is famous for picnics and bonfires. High school students and college students are come there often." I turned my head to Siddharth.

He is looking at the teenage group and there is a glint in his eyes, like he is remembering his own day here with his friends.

He averted his gaze from them and looked at me. He gave me small smile.

I also give a small smile to him and squeezed his hand little to comfort him.

"Come let's eat. They served the best lasagna and sushi in states." He said while gesturing to one of the food stall.

We both walked to the stall but instead of sitting on the table he walked behind the stall.

"Mrs. Harper..." Siddharth called a woman who is serving the dish on plates.

Woman turned to our side after hearing her name. Her eyes opened wide and she have a huge smile on her face.

"Charlie..Charlie"

"What..?"

"Turn around look who is here.." Mrs. Harper said while patting a man's back who is busy in his work.

They both are looking like they are in there late fifties.

Mr. Charlie turned around  to us and he also has the same reaction like Mrs. Harper.

Siddharth chuckled softly looking at their faces.

Harper wiped her hand with a towel and hugged Siddharth tightly. Siddharth hugged  her back

"Oh! Sid dear I don't even remember when I saw you last time." She said while pulling off from the hug.

"No see young man. Too busy to meet these oldies." Mr. Charlie said while taking a Siddharth in a manly hug and patted his back.

"Sorry..I was caught up in some work." Siddharth said pulling off from the hug.

"Perks of being a billionaire." Mr. Charlie said.

Siddharth chuckled softly and shake his while looking down.

"Where are other two? Are they already forget us?" Mrs Harper asked to Siddharth.

"I don't know but I am here." Siddharth said while  shrugging his shoulders.

"I will kick their asses when will they come here." Mr. Charlie said.

We all broke into a laugh.

"Who's this beautiful girl with you." Mrs. Harper asked Siddharth while looking at me.

"Preeti meet Mr.and Mrs. Cruise,  Charlie and Harper. Nick, james and I used to came here specially to eat their lasagna and sushi." Siddharth  introduced me to them.

I nodded  my head to them little to greet them and then touched both their feets. 

They both looked at Siddharth confusingly.

"She is my wife, Preeti Siddharth kapoor." Siddharth introduced me them and said the last part proudly and hold me by my waist.

"Oh! My God. So she is the one you always talking about. My God she is So pretty." Mrs. Harper  came forward and hugged me.

Siddharth nodded his head. He is grinning all the time.

"...and she just took your blessings by touching your feets. She is Indian and we Indians took our blessings like this." Siddharth said with a smile on his face.

"Oh! I am sorry..I don't know....  God bless you dear." Mrs. Cruise said while caressing my head lovingly.

"You are lucky man.." Mr.  Cruise said while patting the back of Siddharth.

Siddharth chuckled softly. He hold my hand  intertwine our fingers.

"I bring her here for dinner." He said while looking at both of them.

"So what do you want to have?" Mr. Cruise asked him.

"The usual..but she is vegetarian." Siddharth said with a smile.

"Don't worry.. you sit till then I'll prepare your order." Mrs. Harper said.

Siddharth  gave her a slight nod a we both started walking towards the empty table.

We found the empty table at the extreme left side of Harper's food stall and sit there.

After some time Siddharth got up and bring a tray of our food.

I hadn't eat lasagna and sushi before and trust me they are really delicious.

Siddharth chuckled softly looking at my face expressions but I can't help it was really delicious.

"Do you like it?" Siddharth asked me when we were walking on the beach hand in hand.

After dinner Siddharth suggested to take a walk around. It was a good idea because I'm really enjoying this time with him.

Cool breeze is blowing my hair and it felt really good to walk under the wide open sky with Siddharth beside me.

"Hmmm..." I hummed and nodded my head with a smile on my face.

"Nick, james and I used to come here from our high school's  days. Mr. and Mrs. Cruise know us since when we were teanagers. We love their lasagna and sushi. But we stopped when we went to college in London." He said while looking down the dry sand.

"But how she knows me?" I asked him out of curiosity.

He looked up to me and locked his eyes  with me.

"There is a place after ten minutes walking. No one go there. Would you like to go?" He asked me.

I turned my head to him. Some strands of my hair come on my face due to wind. 

I looked at him and they are showing some emotions like he wanted to say me yes so he can show me what it is.

I tuck the strands behind my ear and nodded my head while smiling.

"Okey you stay here I will just come in a second." He said and walked away.

After five minutes he came back and he has a blanket in his hand.

"Let's go.."

We both walked in a silent hand in hand busy in our thoughts but there is a comfortable silence between us. After sometime shops are fading away and we reached a silent beach.

There is no one around. It looks like no one know about this place exist.

After walking five more minutes. Siddharth spreads the blanket on the ground. 

He removed his shoes and sit on the blanket. He gesture me with his hand to come to him.

I also removed my sandals and sit beside him but he pull me to him and make me sit between his legs.

We both sit there in silence for a while and looked at the dark ocean.

"When we were in college and came home in our vacations we all three always visit this place once but when We all three went so busy in our life it became rarely that we came here and then we stopped coming here but when our marriage fixed, after reaching the home I called james and Nick to meet me here and I told them about you. Mrs.and Mrs. Cruise were also there and they asked me about your photos and I show them our engagement photos and you know what, what Mrs Harper said looking at you..?" He asked me looking at me.

I shake my head and look at him over my shoulder..

"What she said..?" I asked him with a smile.

"She said that you are too innocent for a devil like me and Nick and  james agreed yo her." He said.

We both chuckled.

He pulled me closer to him by my waist and rest his hand there.

"When I need to think something or want a peace of mind I came here and sit until I didn't find the peace. This place give me peace and now it gave me more peace because my most peaceful thing is with me." He said while kissing me on my cheeks.

I closed my eyes and leaned to his chest. He pulled me closer to him and touched our heads from side.

I started  laughing softly when I remember one thing.

"Why are you laughing..?" Siddharth  asked me.

"You know when I was in college, till second year of my college I thought that girls can be pregnant just by lip kiss." 

We both broke into soft laugh.

"Then who told you how to get pregnant." He asked.

"One day I asked shivani di when we were watching some movie and suddenly hero heroine started kissing on lips. I asked shivani di about that, first she laughed on me but later told me everything." I said while looking at the waves.

"Thank God she told you everything. Otherwise it take me more time to explain you how to get pregnant."

He said while hugging me tightly from behind.

"You know meeting before you, I always underestimate myself. I was full of negative thoughts but after meeting you, you changed the way of my thinking. I always wonder that what you have looked in me that you agreed to marry me but now I know I meant to be yours and I am happy to be yours."

"You are always mine." Saying this he tilted my head head to him by my chin and captured my lips with his lips and started kiss me softly.
