The mafia's maid

Success write.

After seconds of dancing, Ashley decided to rest to catch her breath.

She went over to the bar and Amelia just roll her eyes.

"Seriously!" She shouted then went over to sister. "Let's go back we might catch some hottie." She whined.

"You go back and catch some hottie I'll just be here drinking coke." Ashley corrected.

"Coke? What are you five? Don't embarrass me." Amelia questioned before turning to the Bartender, "Dude give us some cocktails." She ordered while giving a flirtatious smile.

"Yes ma'am." He smiled back then turned to get her order but not without giving Ashley a smile as well.

Amelia nudged her a little, "see boys are drooling over you." She smiled but Ashley could only give a shy smile.

Their orders were severed. It was a pinkish drink with a pink umbrella and straw sticking out.

"Thanks my man." Amelia said then began drinking.

"Take it easy will you?" Ashley reprimanded.

"Yes mom." Amelia mocked then laughed but it was short as every froze, at least for her.

Her eyes went in contact with the hottest of eyes she's ever seen. A pair of amber brown eyes stared back at her dark brown ones.

She gave a toothy smile at him and he returned it. That's all he's got to do as Amelia forgot all about her sister and ran all the way to the stranger.

"Amelia!" Ashley called out but her attempts all fell on deaf ears as it seemed Amelia was in another world while dancing with the stranger.

He wasn't too tall but his broad shoulders over shadowed her petite size.

Guys tried approaching Ashley for dance but she turned them all down.

The party suddenly felt too big for her as she was all alone without Amelia and it wasn't fun anymore so she went outside.

She walked over to Amelia's red Ferrari and got in. Probably that strangers going to be her ride home.

With that in mind, she drove off.

*****

She tosed to her left as it seems her right could not suppress the noise she was hearing that disturbed her sleep.

Although she drank only a little from the cocktail given to her, she still knows she's going to get a hangover. She don't get along with alcohol.

But it seemed that to the left was no good either as light shone brightly on her face that she had to hide her face under her fluffy pillows. Her duvet was no where to be found on the bed.

The noise was persistent and it only irritated her more. It became unbearable that she jumped up and hissed.

"It's Saturday!" She yelled while furrowing her brows.

The noise didn't stop but now that she's awake, she could decipher the noise now.

It was a cry. I cry from her mother.

"Mom?" She called as she climbed down from her bed and down the stairs still on the red dress she was wearing from last night.

She found her mother crying on the couch, her father talking with two police officers whistle trying to call some number on the house landline.

"Dad what's happening? Why's the police here?" She asked.

On seeing her, they all rushed towards her but one of the office man beat them all in talking.

"Miss Ashley we have to ask you some questions about what happened last night. You need to answer our questions truthfully and tell me everything that happened."

"Why do you want my statement officer?" She asked confused.

"Late last night your parents received a call from an anonymous caller telling your father he's got your elder sister." The officer explained.

"What?!" Ashley exclaimed in shock. Not in her wildest dreams will she ever think anyone from her family would be kidnapped.

Yes they were rich but they tried to live moderately and both her parents were too friendly and nice to have enemies. 'Who could be that heartless?' she thought.

"Sorry to inform you of this bad news miss but we need your cooperation to help find your sister." The second officer was the one to speak up this time.

"Ashley how could you leave your sister like that?" Mrs. Gregory accused.

"She said she'll sort her ride back home on her own and I should use her car. She's the one who left me on my own at the party and I had no other choice but to leave without her." Ashley tried to defend herself.

Mrs. Gregory only shook her head and continued crying while mustering some things about why she allowed them to go to that party.

"Miss?" One of the officer called and she directed her attention back to the cops standing in front of her.

"Dear just tell them what happened and don't listen to your mother, you have no fault in this." Mr. Gregory advise but Ashley wasn't listening.

Her head hasn't processed everything yet.

She remained silent even hearing the officers and her father calling her name.

After five minutes, she burst out crying like her mother.

"Mom's right, I shouldn't have left her there by herself." She cried.

Mr. Gregory rushed to embrace his daughter. "Don't blame yourself dear, your mother is stupid just looking for someone to blame and she targeted you."

He wiped the tears from her eyes and was about to continue when the sound of an incoming call from the landline made everywhere silent.

Mr. Gregory and the two officers rushed towards the phone but allowed Mr. Gregory to answer the the call.

"Hello?"

A sinister laugh came from the other end of the line.

"Involve the police as much as you want Gregory but you're not going to get your daughter back, trust me. My problem is with you actually and I won't rest until you suffer for ever crossing me." Said a voice from the other end then the line was cut.

"What did you do?!" Mrs Gregory yelled. "It is your fault Amelia's missing."

Mr. Gregory made a rookie mistake and placed the call on speaker.

"Will you calm down? I haven't done anything to anyone, it must be a mistake or I did it intentionally." Mr. Gregory tried to defend himself.

"Sir, madam." One of the officers interrupted, "We'll be needing both you," he directed at Mr. Gregory, "And you miss Ashley to come to the station for some questioning. It won't be long."
