“I want you.” The words echoed in her head.

She never for once thought she would entertain a stranger saying those words to her. If it was someone else, she would have pushed him off her and walked away. But it was the other way round, she wanted to be around him.

His gaze moved down her body and despite being clothed in a short gown, she felt naked.

Then he looked up at her. “You have amazing features.” He complimented.

“I get that a lot.” She smiled proudly.

“No, darling.” He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. “It is different coming from me.”

“Why?” She asked curiously.

He didn’t reply to that. He just stared at her, thinking of how those eyes of hers would stare at him when he’s deep inside her.

He had somewhere to be. His associates were waiting for him, but then he chose to stay and play with a girl he knew nothing about.

He found her intriguing and those curves of hers popping out from her short gown was worth his time.

And those thighs of hers? They were clean and sexy. Subconsciously, his hand moved there, trailing his fingers on it and she didn’t try to stop him.

Instead, he noticed she clenched her thighs tightly

Aurelia didn’t expect he would be bold enough to touch her thighs. It was sudden and unexpected, she could tell him to stop and she was sure he would, but even though her lips parted, the words weren’t coming out from her mind.

Her legs wobbled as he played with her thighs, leaving her a feeling of anticipation.

‘This is wrong, you’re getting married tomorrow’ A part of her queried.

‘Screw the wedding’

She wasn’t in love with the person she would be getting married to, it didn’t matter if she allowed a stranger to touch her tonight. After all, it wasn’t after the wedding, it was before the wedding.

“Stop.” She managed to say after a while. The word was barely a whisper.

He did stop, but his piercing gaze didn’t leave her face. His eyes displayed curiosity.

“I… I don’t know you. I don’t even know your name.”

His lips curved into a smirk, and before she could ask, he spoke up. “Want to badly know the name you’ll be screaming later?”

They were just words, but a vivid imagination of the words displayed in her head.

Screw sex starvation! If she had a man satisfying her, she wouldn’t get turned on by the mere words of a stranger.

When she stared hearing whispers, she moved her gaze and noticed two girls were slowly walking down the hallway why constantly peeping at them.

Goddamn. She wasn’t always like this. She never allowed strangers to touch her, especially not in a public place like the restroom hallway.

Her body tried to betray her, but her self respect overpowered it.

She pushed him off her. “You can only dream.”

He chuckled lightly. “It would be a reality, I promise.”

She hated how confident he sounded. He was full of pride, and she didn’t like the fact that she couldn’t humble him.

“Fuck you.” She cussed and walked away from him.

“Soon, you will.”

She paused right on her track when he said those words, but she didn’t turn.

“Oh God.” She muttered and walked away as fast as she could. She just needed to get away from there, away from him, away from everyone.

What she needed at that moment was a room and her fully charged vibrator.

When she got to where her friends were, she noticed the relief on their faces when they saw her.

“Thank Goodness. We thought something happened to you.” Daisy said.

She took a deep breath, trying to balance her tension. It would be embarrassing for her friends to find out she got turned on by a simple word from a stranger.

Without saying too much, she picked her bag up. “Let’s go home.”

Brielle’s brows raised. “What happened?”

“Nothing happened. I’m not just feeling anything. I just want to go home. I also have to sleep early so I can be up early for my wedding tomorrow.”

“But we can’t go home. You’ll start thinking about the wedding.” Daisy said, as she picked a glass of wine from the bartender.

Daisy had a nice point though, but then Aurelia knew it still wouldn’t change anything. Whether she sulk in bed thinking about the wedding, or not, the wedding was still going to hold.

She knew her friends more than anyone else and knew that wasn’t the only reason they didn’t want to leave. The Friday night bizarre had merely begun, they didn’t want to miss the fun.

“You guys can stay if you want to, I’ll text you when I get home.” She didn’t want to be selfish. She didn’t want their fun night to end because of her selfish desire.

“No, we can’t stay while you leave.” Brielle was against the idea, and the firmness in her tone told Aurelia she wasn’t going anywhere without her.

Aurelia sighed. “Guys, seriously. I’m fine. You both deserve a fun night, and I’d feel guilty if you left because of me.”

She tried to smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “I just want to go home, shower, and pretend tomorrow isn’t happening for a few hours.”

Daisy frowned. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m sure.” Her voice was soft but certain. “I’ll text when I get home. Promise.”

The girls exchanged looks before Brielle exhaled heavily. “Fine. But if you start crying over some stupid arranged marriage crap, I’m coming over to kidnap you.”

Aurelia chuckled. “Deal.”

She gave them both a quick hug, then turned toward the exit, clutching her small purse tightly.

When she got outside, she exhaled sharply. Finally an air that isn’t filled with alcohol and temptation.

The serenity of outside felt like heaven, because inside the club, she felt her eardrums almost exploding.

They were many cars parked outside, but she could still remember the exact place she parked her car.

She sauntered towards the place, ignoring the men trying to talk to her. When she spotted the back of her pink Mercedes, she sighed.

She pressed her car key and the car lights dimmed.

Upon getting closer to the car, she noticed someone leaning on her car.

Her grip on her car key tightened and she hastened her steps, ready to yell at whoever the person was. But when she got to the front and came face to face with the person, her anger died down and was replaced with curiosity.

How on earth did the stranger get to her car???

“What are you doing here? How did you find my car?” She questioned.

“You do have a nice car. Seems you have eyes for good things.” He said casually, ignoring her questions.

“What do you want?” She didn’t want to waste anymore time.

She wanted to go home to her vibrator and give herself overwhelming pleasure.

He moved away from the car and took a step closer to her. “You.”

She swallowed hard. “Today’s not your lucky day. You won’t have me.”

“Darling, I could get you with a snap of my fingers.”

She glared at him. “What is that supposed to mean?”

A tiny smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. “It means you want me. You wear your emotions all over your face.”

Aurelia shut her eyes in embarrassment. Was it that obvious?

She stiffened when she felt his fingers trailing down her neck and over her shoulder.

“Tell me it’s not true.”

His hand moved lower, brushing the surface of her cleavage. “Waiting for your answer, darling.”

Fuck! He knew the right places to touch her. He was torturing her.

“It’s true.” She admitted shamelessly as she opened her eyes.

Her nipples hardened in her gown and she fought back the urge to place the strangers hand in her cloth.

She stared up at his lips and wished those pink lips of his would be all over hers. She wanted to kiss him but she was scared to make the first move.

As if he could read through her mind, he smashed his lips on hers and her eyes shut involuntarily.

  • The night before the wedding    The dinner

His family house was nothing less than she expected. A big mansion, bright lights, staffs everywhere, and people Aurelia didn’t want to see. She stayed calm, walking beside Hardin as they navigated through the spacious hallway, heading to the dining room. As soon as they got there, her steps slowed. Her gaze moved around the room, scanning the people; Hardin’s parents, a young lady, and the chefs dishing out food. Then it moved to the variety of dishes present, it was as if a big feast was being held.“Hi mom.” She watched as Hardin greeted his mom, giving her a peck on the cheek. She shrugged and wore a practiced smile. “Good evening.” She didn’t direct her greetings to anyone.“Welcome, Aurelia. How are you?” Hardin’s father asked calmly.“I’m fine.” She replied, not in the mood to force herself to have a conversation with people who clearly didn’t give a fuck about her. Her eyes came in contact with Hardin’s mum and they both looked away immediately. There were three empty

She paced around the room restlessly. She didn’t tell him her location but he said he was coming. How exactly did he know where she was? And why was he coming? Her eyes darted around the room as if an answer would magically appear. Nothing did.Think, Aurelia. Think. She grabbed her phone again and dialed his number. Not once, but twice. And he declined all.Her jaw tightened.“Of course,” she scoffed under her breath.Quickly, her fingers flew across the screen as she typed vigorously;I already called my dad. He’s sending a driver to pick me up and take me home. Since you’ll be going for dinner, I’ll just spend the night at his place. She hit send immediately. Her foot tapped against the floor as she waited. Her brows furrowed instantly.“You?” she said, her tone flat.Oliver looked up slowly, completely unbothered.A faint smirk tugged at his lips. “You do have other meaningful things doing aside clubbing.” Aurelia glanced briefly at the attendants nearby, then back at him.“Office.” She said strictly.Without waiting for a response, she turned and walked away. She didn’t need to check. She knew he would follow. And he did. As soon as they got to the office, she shut the door and turned to him, crossing her hands.“What are you doing here?” She tried to be as calm as she could. The last thing she wanted was her workers hearing her lash out. Oliver didn’t reply. His gaze moved around the office. “Did Hardin send you here to destroy’ my store?” She laid emphasis on the word ‘destroy’ Oliver’s brows creased. “Why would Hardin destroy your store?” She scoffed. “Are you playing dumb or you really don’t know what your brother said to me?” Oliver took slow steps towards her. “How am

  • The night before the wedding    A moment of peace

The past few days had been peaceful for Aurelia. Too peaceful it became boring, but that was better than speaking to Hardin. Ever since the day Hardin returned from her father’s office, he had been avoiding her like a plague. The threats stopped, she could eat whenever she wanted to, do whatever she liked. Life has been very peaceful, but a part of her still wished she could go back to her normal life. Then she sat down and did her analysis. There was nothing special about her old life; She went to work, go out with her friends on free days. She just realized she could still continue living that same life under Hardin’s roof. She had rested enough and today, she decided she would visit her fashion store to see how it was going. The door to her room opened after a knock, and Linda walked in holding a tray containing breakfast.“You’re going out?” Linda asked, upon seeing her outfit.“Yes.” Aurelia replied, adjusting her earrings. She spared the tray a spare before lookin

  • The night before the wedding    Silent threats

Aurelia stood next to her window, her hand rubbing her necklace pendant. She had just finished speaking to her dad and she told him everything that had been happening; Hardin’s threat and her uncomfortable stay in the house. Her dad had promised to call Hardin to talk to him and even though she begged him not to, he insisted he would meet up with Hardin to speak with him. Ever since, she had been standing next to her window, waiting to watch him leave the house. And there it goes. She saw him heading to the garage, dressed in a black suit. Her brows raised. He was going to meet her father, why would he dress so corporate. She shrugged it off and bent her wrist to her face, reading the time from the watch.“It’s past two. It will take about two hours before he’ll get back home.” She muttered. As soon as she saw the car driving out of the compound, she closed her curtain and hurried out of the room. On getting downstairs, she overheard a feminine voice speaking, it was coming

  • The night before the wedding    The price of curiosity

Hardin was seated quietly in his room, his fingers moving magically fast on the keypads of the laptop in front of him.His entire focus was on what he was doing, until his phone rang. He glanced at the screen and then focused back on what he was doing, allowing the phone to continue ringing. The call ended and the person called again. Reluctantly, he picked the call and placed it on loud speaker, that way he could continue with what he was doing.“What do you want?” He spoke first.“We have a serious problem, boss.” He could hear the urgency in the voice of his worker. His fingers stopped. “What happened?”********* Aurelia’s eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the bright light of the room. For a moment, her head went blank. She couldn’t think of anything, other than staring around the room. When she finally recalled what happened, she jumped down from the bed.“How did I get here?” She mumbled in confusion. She could recall blacking out, and the next thing, she found hersel
