Chapter six

Filthy curses escaped my mouth as I struggled to get up. It was clear how dangerously high,  I was betting on fate that almost abandoned me. A small sharp pain came to my thigh and disappeared the way it came. 

He must have heard the thud,  if he finds me my small mental shake will come to an end. I hurried out of the verandah as panic gripped my throat and tears threatened to split out of my eyes. I just wanted to be a girl and cuddle and be spoilt with forehead kisses not this. 

The beams of a pair of headlights threw on their asphalt sliping beneath the rig's tears making me hide before I was seen. 

I watched as Ben came down followed by another guy.  

Ah!  It was Friday,  they were going out.
