Lai’s pov

I was feeling really anxious, and even when I really wanted to stay in bed, I wanted to know what Johnny's sister was going to say about the situation.

I didn't know what else to say. I was really really worried. My heart kept drumming, and my eyes were fixed at the door. If only he knew what was on my mind, he would have come to clear my doubt.

I ran my hands through my hair and tried to get on my feet. My heart drummed hard, and my lips were dried. If only he knew what was going on.

As soon as my worry increased, the door was pushed open, gaining my attention. My eyes were fixed on the door, and he was standing there.

Seeing him excited me. I was so happy I was over the moon. Pushing myself up from the bed with the little strength I had gained, I rushed towards him and hugged him tightly.

“Are you sure you're fine? You seem anxious. I know you're worried about my sister.”

He expressed, his hands touching my hair. I noticed that there was something about him.
