Xena's pov.

I ran through the bushes, my face covered in sweat as I ran. My hair was blown about by the wind and some were glued to the sweat on my face.

"You need to rest, what about your baby," my wolf spoke but I wasn't ready to listen. I had already been betrayed by so many people in this life and I wished the moon goddess would just take my life at this point.

"Please," she spoke in a humble manner. She was trying to convince me not to be stressed because of my baby. I had almost lost my baby before and it took a lot for me to handle.
