Rose POV When I was a little girl I always imagined my life would be full of happiness and love. I pictured finding the perfect mate to share a beautiful life and children with. Rose POV By the time I finished getting everything cleaned up and put away, it was around 2 am and I am completely drained. I don't know how much more my body can take of this. The only good thing that happened today was I wasn't beaten. It is only because other alphas are visiting and most of them do not believe in abusing and enslaving other pack members. It's almost like their visit is giving me a break my body very much needs. About 70 years ago, the views and opinions of alphas started to change regarding the treatment and enslavement of lower rank pack members. With each new generation of alphas, the lower-ranking pack members started to gain more rights and freedom. Now they are almost as equally respected as the high-ranking members. My pack was changing until Maximus became alpha. The omegas of the pack don't get treated as badly as I do, but they still get treated pretty badly like, being shoved around, called names, and a few beatings here and there.
