Nick paused unsure why I was hovering.

"Everything ok?" He asked.

I looked at him and saw the fear in his eyes.

"I don't want to be alone tonight." I answered shyly.

"Would you like me to stay with you until you fall asleep?"

I hung my head shaking it. "I want to be in the same bed as you again."

He lifted my face to look at him. His smile stretched from ear to ear.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I nodded. Somehow his smile grew larger. His eyes beamed at me with happiness. he took my hand softly and walked me down the hallway. he paused just inside the bedroom and waited for me to feel comfortable. I kissed him softly on the cheek and walked over and climbed into bed. Nick watched carefully before undressing and climbing in beside me. I curled into his side and wrapped my arm around him. He curled his arms around me and hummed with happiness.

"I love you." I whispered as I close my eyes and fell asleep.

    Dan carried on shouting and as my mind flashed back to memories, my stomach bubbled, and I threw up over the stand. The judge called a break, and the courtroom was cleared. I headed to the bathroom to clean up before heading back in and retaking the stand. “Leila, can you tell me why you were sick?” “The memories, the thought of him touching me,” I paused and shook my head as I remembered him near me, “It makes me feel sick.
