21: Karmina

Death. The stench still carried on the wind as they escorted Karmina through the village. Or what she left of it. Blood stained the dirt roads. Broken glass scattered the streets. Scorch marks remained from the fires that danced that night. Eyes stared from behind darkened windows. She didn't need to look to feel their hatred towards her. A sliver of her felt remorse. The death of her brothers and sisters pained her, but it was a numbing pain. Barely existent. The Dark Magic that coursed through her veins pulsed with life. Even as the Holy Magic restrained her from using it, it didn't stop the sinister feeling that coiled through her being. Most of all, she felt pride. She was proud of her accomplishment of Death Magic. Pride for being the only Witch in existence to achieve such a feat. Relishing in pride that many fear her. It fueled her and her Magic.
