2021-08-30 18:10:10I woke up with my head throbbing as if someone had whacked me with a baseball bat over it last night. I looked around the dark room my eyes adjusting to the minimal lighting. My memory of last night was hazy. I remembered I shifted and Creed was with me.
I was running through the forest my white paws hitting the ground hard. I had smelt something deliciously mouth-watering. The other wolves couldn't catch me they were trying to stop me but I didn't want to stop.
I felt this sharp pain pierce my leg before I went down to the ground. The memory caused me to look down at my leg. It was badly bruised and my skin looked like it was burned.
Where on earth was I. The cell didn't look like the cells below the packhouse. As I sat up looking at the mattress and sheet on the floor. A sense of Deja vu hit me.

I panted as I tried to keep up with Hera. We were running along a trail in the forest. It was a part of my training to strengthen my core. According to the other wolves, if I exercised regularly and stretched the shift wouldn't be that hard on my body. It had been three days since our trip to Phoenix. It felt good to see Kris again. Creed and I never spoke about what our relationship meant after that day. I knew his reasons for trying not to get too close to me but every time I saw him I felt my body gravitate to him. It's like I had blinders when he was in my line of vision I focused on nothing but him and for a moment he looked at me the same until he came back to a sense of reality and walked away. That part always felt like my heart was being torn into a million tiny pieces. I hated the fact that he pushed me away. It was agony I never felt before. Maybe it was a wolf-mate thing that I wanted to be as close to him as possible all the time but he wouldn't let me. He would run away if I got too close to him. There were times he would leave the house and shift into his wolf and run into the forest. I didn't know whether to be amused at his creativity or offended.
