Ezra

It had been two nights since I brought food to her.

Two damn nights, and yet I could still feel the ghost of her hand resting in mine like a brand seared into my skin. I don’t know what I expected after that. Relief? Release? But yes, I felt calmer. The storm in my chest that was swirling for weeks, and was threatening to consume me and my wolf, had oddly become quiet.

So when the healers came that night, I’d finally allowed them to patch up my wounds. Strangely as they patched up my wounds, I wasn’t burning from the inside out anymore. The bruises which silver chains left on me, felt bearable. They slathered my skin with herbs that produced a burning sensation, they stitched my skin on my legs and wrists, but I took it all easily because Shade was quiet and surprisingly satisfied for the first time in life. Like he was on the ninth cloud and actually humming through the healing up process. I’d known him to be irritable and edgy, but I had never known him to be… this calm.

  • To Tame The Alpha   Caged

Tonya He looked at me sharply. Pursing his lips, he took his phone out and gave it to me. I took it and realized there was no signal. It was like we were deep into the wild with no connection to civilization. Frustrated, I let out a rough exhale. After another twenty minutes, the jeep slowed. We were in the middle of nowhere. I was surrounded by wild forest, and there was no temple. The jeep finally stopped in front of a small wooden cabin nestled between trees. It looked like it hadn’t been touched in years, yet the porch light flickered to life as we approached. Made of dark wood, with soft golden lights glowing inside, the cabin appeared cozy, warm. “This is it?” I asked, puzzled.Zeke stepped out and came around to open my door. “No, we are just taking a small break. The temple is a short trek on foot from here.” He opened my door. “Come. You’ll love this.”I hesitated, my insides stirring uneasily.“Zeke, this isn’t—”He tugged my hand, gently but firmly. “Just trust me.”I fol

TonyaHe was still on his knees. Zeke looked up at me. With tears glistening in his eyes, he said, “Please Tonya, believe me. You know what? I told Angie the truth. That I never loved her and that it was always you.”I swallowed the lump rising in my throat as my heart stuttered. “Alpha Zeke—”“No,” he interrupted, voice low and trembling. “Let me speak.”“I can’t live without you, Tonya.” His hands reached for my face, where he brushed my cheeks. Then his head rested again against my stomach like it was his lifeline. “I have made many mistakes in my decisions. I hurt you. I know that. But I want to make it right. I want to end this war between us.”Tears shimmered in his eyes, and for a terrifying second, I felt my resolve crack. His pain looked so real.“I’ll take you to the Moon Temple,” he whispered, looking up at me like a sinner before a goddess. “It was built by my ancestors. We’ll stand under the sacred light of the goddess and get married. Just us. It will be pure and untaint

  • To Tame The Alpha   I Want You Back

Tonya I stayed in the kitchen most of the time with Eden standing next to me like a mother hen. She didn’t allow any gossip inside but she couldn’t stop any outside the kitchen. And it was everywhere. Every corner of the pack grounds buzzed with hushed murmurs and curious glances. I wanted to avoid everyone, and go back home, to my little room where I would be invisible. Eventually, when I couldn’t stay inside any longer, feeling suffocated, I walked out, clutching my shawl tightly, as if it could shield me from the speculation in the air. The moment I reached the main room, I heard the maids gossiping. “They say Angie screamed at him for an hour straight before storming out in the morning. I heard them shouting at each other in the night as well.” “Can you believe she packed her bags so suddenly?”“And it all happened because of that omega, Tonya!” “Alpha Zeke looked hollow this morning.”“Goddess, that omega is just too much. First, she danced with the enemy who bribed his way

  • To Tame The Alpha   Feelings for his Ex

TonyaI walked into the Alpha house with the ribboned shirt folded neatly in a bag. I went straight to Alpha’s bedroom, and knocked lightly with my heart beating like a drummer gone mad. And even though, I was scared of the repercussion, that small thing inside me wanted to mess with Angie. And I hoped that after today she didn’t take my dresses. I mean what kind of desperation was she facing that she needed an omega’s shirt?“Come in!” Angie’s husky voice came.I stepped in to see that the two were wrapped in each other’s arms. Ignoring the dull ache in my heart, I said, “The dress you asked for.” I placed it on the table and was about to leave, when Angie crawled out of the bed. “Wait!” she commanded, and I stopped in my tracks, a shiver going down my spine. She took the dress out of the bag and held it at eye level. Her eyes widened. For a long moment, she stood there, fury etched on her face. Then she let out a scream. Her scream could’ve cracked the glass.“TONYA! What is this?”

  • To Tame The Alpha   Ribbons

TonyaI returned to my tent, and curled beneath the blanket, the sensation of his kiss still lingering on my lips. It felt surreal. And silly me, wanted more. My body was on fire. I clenched my thighs as an unknown sensation bloomed between them. One I wanted to get relieved of. I let out a loud frustrated groan.I mentally chided myself that he was Alpha Ezra. He had superior blood and every she-wolf would have the same reaction as me in his vicinity. I thanked the logical side of my brain for getting away from him as soon as possible. And I promised myself never to succumb to his charm. But the thought left me surprisingly… miserable.I didn’t realize I’d fallen asleep until soft voices stirred me awake. The air was cool as dawn broke, faint morning sun seeped through the tent’s flap. My body felt stronger, the ache duller, and the stiffness in my limbs had mostly eased. I sat up, pushing the blanket away. “Rapunzel wakes up!” Alicia’s voice made me snap out of my thoughts, and I ch

  • To Tame The Alpha   A Kiss

Tonya After resting for a while, the pain subsided. I finished the rabbit soup and lied down. Its warmth lingered in my belly, but my heart ached in silence. Zeke was using his Alpha power to command me. It hurt me. I was now an insignificant omega he shouldn’t be bothered about. And yet, he had somehow turned all this a game of egos.Sleep found me eventually, carrying me into darkness away from the pain. I dreamt of golden eyes, dungeons, and wolves chasing me to kill me. I got up with a start, sweat beads clung to my forehead. I let out a sharp exhale, happy that it was a dream. I tried to sleep again, but it was impossible. My eyes blinked open to the soft sound of wind brushing against the tent. The dim bluish light of pre-dawn spilled into the tent through the edges of the flap. Removing the blanket, I got out of the tent, and realized that I had woken up long before dawn broke, long before the birds even began to sing. A strange calm had settled over the world. Everything out
