As he pulled into his driveway on his bike, he slowly placed it back into the garage and stared at the house. This was it. He was going to talk to Singto about something that he has been hiding from the others for… god knows how long. He took a deep breath and collected his thoughts as the advice Holly gave him rang in his ears. Just be kind and gentle… let’s see where this goes.
After allowing some
Singto’s voice was shaky but Krist heard him loud and clear. When he said this, Kirst stopped dead in his tracks, but didn’t turn around to face him, not yet. “Why?” “Because it makes me feel good. I… I… I like the feeling of emptiness, or maybe I don’t like it but just got used it or something…” This was not easy for Singto to talk about since he’s never had to confess to any of it.
It was getting closer to dinner time and the boys were lounging in the living room area. Singto was sat on one of the single chairs near the television and Krist was lying on the big couch in front of a coffee table. Neither of them was talking, since both had similar things running through their minds. A lot has happened within the last couple hours and they were simply trying to let it all sink in.Krist was the first to break the silence by tapping his pencil on
When Emmie was worried about leaving the two boys in the house for 14 days, it also had to do with the fact that her son cannot cook to save his life. She was worried and paranoid about there being a kitchen fire. Every night she’d call and check in on him and Singto and makes them send pictures of the house to calm the nerves about her fears. So for nothing bad has happened, but she couldn’t rule out of the possibility of something happening. Little did anyone know, Singto is a very skilled cook and Krist is in for a surprise tonight. The boys entered the kitchen and Krist felt so clueless. He looked around pantry and the fridge to find anythi
Finally, after what seemed like centuries, Singto allowed the food to enter his mouth. Immediately, he covered his full mouth with his knuckles and breathed deeply. This was painful for Krist to watch, since he no knows he must do struggle with this all on his own for a very long time. That thought alone made him tighten his grip onto Singto’s free hand. After a while of chewing the food slowly, he managed to swallow it and exhaled another breath of air.
Now Singto has someone who won’t let him get hurt and that same person truly likes him. This was not something Singto imagined would happen to him, but now that it has, he never wants to go back to the life he was living before. All that hurt, and misery could never come back and hurt him now. He has Krist, someone who will keep him safe and happy for as long as he possibly can.“Thank you, for making me smile.” Singto said.
With that being said, it’s harder to go on regular visits now, since he’s starting to not recognize him at all. Ken simply speaks to him as if he were a stranger. “Yeah, I guess I should visit my day.” He didn’t really want to tell Singto, since he though his own problems were far less important than this time. “Would you like to come with me?” Singto widened his eyes. This is the firs
Singto followed Krist’s pace and ran in front of him. “Krist… are you okay?” Krist refused to look at him. He knew that once he did, he’d only fall apart. “Yeah, I’m fine.” He brushed past him trying to avoid anymore of this, but that didn’t stop Singto. He grabbed Krist’s wrist making him stop walking entirely. “It’s okay… to not be fine.” K
Singto wanted to start the conversation with a positive note before getting to his point, or overall message that he wishes to deliver to Krist, and hopefully make him feel a bit better. “When I was told that I would be living with Harvey, I felt extremely grateful and blessed to have someone who wanted to welcome me into their home.” Krist looked over at Singto’s knees and fiddled with his thumbs as he spoke. “And then, I met Emmie and was even more excited to begin this new life. I felt like I got another chance, another option. And this house felt so warm and sheltered…”
