Lose control

Grace flinched as the door slammed shut and didn't move at all for a few seconds. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up, the room was spinning in her eyes. She felt uncomfortable but there was nothing she could do about it. She laid her head on the floor and closed her eyes tightly, her hands still gripping on her arms tightly. But now it was even worse. She started remembering her past, all those horrible moments started revolving in her head- her step-mother beating her, Yara leaving her alone, her classmates bullying her, her principal scolding her and suspending her from school, and her father beating and her in a dark room, crying her eyes out. She remembered the past and tears started falling down her eyes but she didn't let any sound escape from her mouth.
