I sat on the floor with my legs folded, my eyes pulled shut as I listened to the water flow down the river. The musty, earth odor along with the chirping of the birds and mild ruffle of shrubs, had me taking deep breaths.

I could feel my body relaxing, my stress easing with each breath I took. I opened my eyes, threading my hand through my hair. The last couple of weeks had been rough for me, promising to drive me to the brink of insanity if I remained in that environment for one second more.
