Jervis's POV

I down my last sip of beer and get up.

"Hey, you going home?" tanong ni Arianna. Simple lang na pagtango ang naitugon ko.

"May trabaho pa bukas. Sabay ka na sa akin," I said.

"Mamaya ka na umuwi."

She yanked me onto the couch. She mounted herself on my lap and planted a smooch on my neck. I delicately pushed her aside. The moment I laid eyes on her visage, Rose's face materialized. I nibbled on my lower lip and caressed her cheek. Abruptly, Rose's face vanished and Arianna's face welcomed me.

I cleared my throat and lifted her to sit on the couch.

"Kailangan ko na kasing umuwi. Thank you for your time. Sa day off ulit," I said and kissed her cheek as respect and it was just a friendly kiss.

I tilted my head 'cause I felt a dizziness. There are a few aware nods here and there, marami akong kakilala na umiinom rin.
