Toxic Love: Trapped Between The Stero Twins

It was a rainy day after school and I was in my boss's coffee shop, working part-time as usual when I got a text message from an anonymous contact.

A customer ordered another cup of coffee but I was too intrigued by the video I had got anonymously. Being the girlfriend and Mate of Serafino Stero had left its mark.

I am the Shape Shifters College Princess. Aside from my intelligence in my academic performance, I am also the kindest and pure-hearted.

My days are always exciting and promising but this one video I just received from an unknown contact tends to turn my whole life upside down.

The coffee tray I held on my left palm felled and the coffee cup on it shattered into millions of pieces at my feet.

One of the shards pierced my toe but surprisingly I felt no pain. This is all because I am experiencing the greatest agony as my heart begins to thud.

What is more excruciating than a Mate saying goodbye by cheating? What is scarier than through a video I have found out a man I have loved my entire life is sleeping with my best friend, my roommate?

I rushed out of the coffee shop and entered my car at once. I couldn't remember how I managed to drive to college without causing any accidents.

To say I am anxious will be an understatement. I drove swiftly into the prestigious Shape Shifters College that rainy afternoon and headed straight to the most graceful building which was built solely for the Alpha's sons, Sebastiano and Serafino.

They are both identical twins and Serafino happens to be my Mate. I am a Fox but he is a Werewolf. Now we all know once a Fox is mated to one man, it won't have another mate ever again.

I alighted the Moment I stopped the car before the Twins building and I rushed into the large house.

The front door is unlocked and Serafino's car is in the parking lot which means he is inside.

The hall was silent and no one was in sight but as I walked closer to Serafino's bedroom, I overheard the moans. That soft moan almost stops my heart.

My steps came slow now. Afraid I'd find out all my thoughts were true after all. Gently I reach for the doorknob and turn it.

When I pushed the door open it was Estelle dressing up I saw First before my eyes caught Serafino walking out of his bathroom, his hair wet.

My knees buckled but I was quick to lean against the wall in order not to pass out. My mate suddenly walked to me and his face showed both surprise and confusion.

I know what had happened without needing any details. The video is true after all. Serafino Stero had cheated on me. My whole world seemed to collapse at this fact and somehow I could hear the mocking laughter from the other students who had been jealous about my relationship with the Alpha's son.

I look up now after regaining my breath to stare at Serafino for a while. He knows exactly what is on my mind. He had once said I am an open book to him. He can read me anytime. Now I think I have proved him wrong. I have done exactly what he had never seen coming. I have shown up unannounced and caught him in his infidelity acts.

" I swear to you Hayven. It isn't true " He told me. He assured me very carefully but it was as though he had just mocked me. I nearly scoff.

Slowly I look at Estelle to see she isn't at all remorseful. She almost feels contented. As though she had achieved her aim after all.

My legs immediately go into action before my heart can process it. I turned around, ready to flee the scene and never return but then Serafino caught my wrist and held it firmly so I wouldn't leave.

" Hayven wait a second. Please, trust me. This isn't true " He is desperate and almost believable. almost. " Estelle tell her what has happened. I never know she is here. Hayven listen to me. Please. Just a minute. I will explain "

" Now I am hurt " Estelle's words came slicing through the thick atmosphere. Both Serafino and I slowly look her way and she sighs before rolling her eyes. " I can't believe you would beg her not to leave after we just had sex "

That's it. That's the last word I think I needed. I freed myself from Serafino's grip and rushed out, ready to Burst into tears if provoked any further.

As I ran out, I heard him calling out behind me, begging me not to go but all those words fell on deaf ears. Oh, I know better than to just stand and give him some time. He will charm me again and I will forget the reason I have been angry.

I pulled out of the Twins building and headed towards the College's exit. The other students were just trooping out of their classes but they had taken shelter at the school premises because of the rain so when my car whoosh passed, I attracted a lot of attention but not as much as when I swiftly stepped on the brake to avoid running over the young man who had blocked my way with his hands spread out.

Serafino Stero is known for his confidence and Dominance, as well as his arrogance but when I came into his life, I was able to refine him into a nice young man.

He stood there, blocking my way under the rain with that Hazel eyes of his very determined.

I gritted my teeth at this situation I found myself in and I decided to clear the doubts. Yes, I know he has a lot of crushes so many might wish to trick me to make us break up.

He wanted to explain right? I should let him explain.

I alighted from the car and approached him with my cell phone in hand. My eyes empty and my heart thudding with fear. All I wanted to hear from him is no but I highly doubt if he would give a different answer.

I held my cellphone screen up to his face where the video of him undressing with Estelle behind him was playing and I saw his eyebrows creased up together in confusion and surprise again.

" Is this you? " I asked carefully and I saw his eyes shift from the screen to my face as his expression faded away into the one I couldn't read. For some moments there I wonder what he is thinking about.

" Hayven please " He begged. " I beg you ... "

" Tell me Seraf " I cut in. " Tell me this isn't you "

The tears had clouded my eyes already and he could see I was hurt. We have an audience and we are both wet from the rain. His answer is what remains for me to conclude.

" Hayven... "

" Deny it, Seraf. Tell me this isn't you. Just say no and I promise to go right into your arms. This is you... Right? "

That is a bet but somehow I am so sure of his answer. He wouldn't tell lies when I am this damn serious.

Slowly he came closer to me with his eyes begging and he muttered that one syllable that changed my entire life.

" Yes "

I stood still without moving and the thunder came at that moment as though to announce the break of bond between two different races.

" Get out of my way or I swear to my father whom I hold dear Seraf, I will run over you if you don't "

The tears trailed out my cheek and I turned away from him. I get into my car and revive the car. When I continued to drive I didn't stop nor did he move away.

I was almost there, where he stood when he swift away giving me the path I needed to take. I drove out and from the rear mirror, I saw him still standing under the rain.

The College soon is behind me but I drive still with my thoughts all over the place. Seraf is my first love and now he will become the last. I have thought nothing will come between us this way but I guess I am wrong. Wrong at so many things now. Wrong that he would stay with me forever. Wrong that he will be my first and last mate.

My vision becomes blurry with tears and my mind goes blank. I remember losing the grip of the steering wheel and I drifted off into darkness.

The pungent scent of hospital disinfection invaded my nostrils and I was forced to open my eyes. Swiftly I sit up to see I am in a hospital room with a bandage wrapped around my head.

I couldn't believe what had happened. Did I faint while driving because of Seraf?

His thoughts resurfaced and I suddenly felt the urge to burst into tears but I was out of luck because the door opened and it interrupted my emotions.

The doctor is dressed professionally with a small smile on his face. Even though he is unfamiliar, he appears friendly enough with me.

" Hi there " He greeted and I nodded.

" Uh ... How do I get here? "

" A young man brought you in. It is a car accident but thanks to him saving you. He practically saved your life "

I gulped down hard. I wonder who this good Samaritan of mine will be. Inwardly I prayed it wouldn't turn out to be Serafino. Now I strongly do not want anything with him anymore.

" Thank you so much," I said to the doctor as I eased out of bed. " I should leave now. I will stop at the cashier's desk to pay for ... "

" No, no. He had also paid for the treatment. He is waiting for you in the hallway "

Again, I swallowed hard. I got out of bed and slowly headed to the exit but the doctor stopped me abruptly.

" Uh... I think you should take this with you " He said while extending the slip of paper he had held onto. " Congratulations "

I suddenly got confused. Why will he congratulate me? Over what?

My eyes dropped to the Slip of paper he had held out and I took it very slowly. Then I read its contents and got the shock of my life.

" It says pregnancy positive. Who is pregnant? "

" Passing out often can be detailed as a sign of pregnancy in a Fox breed so I ran a test and I was right. It came out positive. You are three weeks gone already so congratulations "

I suddenly dropped off to the floor with the paper results still in my grip. Did I hear right? I am three weeks pregnant? For Seraf? Serafino Stero? Does this mean I am breeding his baby? Oh no. How could this happen? how possible!
