Surprise For Ivy

"You've got to believe me, Ivy. We are getting married soon, so put your jealousy away, okay?" Alistair smiled fondly at Ivy as he stroked her hair.

"I am not jealous, Honey," Ivy said.

"It doesn't matter if you are jealous of me, it means you love me very much," Alistair turned to his lover and chuckled at Ivy's spoiled voice.

After talking to Ivy, Alistair looked straight back at the busy highway that morning.

"Which garden do you want to take me for a walk? What do you want to talk to me about?" Ivy asked curiously.

"Um ... secret, " Alistair's teasing made Ivy frown, then she leaned back in the chair, turned to the handsome man, and pinched Alistair's cheek.

"Aww ... why are you pinching me?? I am driving," He grumbled.

"If you don't want me to pinch you, don't tease me like that," concluded Ivy.

"I am not teasing you, Ivy."

"I wonder, what exactly are you planning for me?"

"Be patient, you will find out later. Look at that ... do you like it or not?" Alistair asked back, pointing at a beautiful flower garden on the right side of the road with his left hand.

Ivy turned her back on Alistair and rolled down the car window, so she could get a better look at the garden where Alistair would surprise his lover.

"Do you want to ask me out on a date there?"

"No, I took you to the flower garden because I wanted to give you a surprise," Alistair replied, a sweet smile spreading across Alistair's face.

"What surprise??"

"Wait a minute," Alistair said.

Alistair kept his focus looking straight ahead, drove slowly, then he turned his red mpv onto another road which was the entrance to the flower garden.

A few moments later, they were in front of the garden. Alistair gently touched Ivy's hand, gripped it tightly, then blinked his eyes as he smiled sweetly at Ivy.

"Come on," said Alistair.

Ivy nodded her head and smiled back at Alistair. Then the two of them got out of Alistair's mpv, together they walked into a beautiful and colorful flower garden area.

In the garden, there is a long carved iron chair with a backrest, two swings, and a lotus pond. Alistair took Ivy's arm affectionately as she rested her head on his lover's left shoulder.

"The atmosphere here is so calm and cool, I like places like this," said Ivy, she smiled widely.

"I knew you would like this place, so I took you for a walk here. Would you like to sit on the swing or on a chair?" asked Alistair.

"I'll just sit in the chair," Ivy replied without looking at Alistair, looking so comfortable leaning on Alistair's shoulder.

"Honey, I can't wait for that special day. Before we have a wedding in Paris, we should have a small party first in New York or in England, how about it? Do you agree?" continued Ivy giving a choice.

"It's up to you," Alistair replied softly, then he stroked Ivy's hair warmly and lovingly.

Not long after, the two of them arrived in front of a long carved white chair. They sat on it in a relaxed position, Alistair embracing Ivy in his right hand, and kissing her left cheek.

"Today you don't have to work. Last night, I asked your father's permission, that I would take you to the bridal house to choose the wedding dress you like," Alistair looked deeply at Ivy, his words had made Ivy both surprised and happy.

Her beautiful eyes were perfectly rounded with a happy facial expression, "Is that true??"

"That's right. After choosing a wedding dress that suits you, we'll have lunch at your favorite cafe," Alistair stared intently at Ivy.

"Ali, you are the perfect man and can always make me happy and comfortable," Ivy complimented her lover with sparkling eyes.

"You are also a very perfect woman to me, no other woman can match your beauty and intelligence," Alistair returned Ivy's compliment, pinching her chubby cheeks affectionately.

"It hurts Ali ... you act like a child," Ivy grumbled, rubbing her cheek.

"It doesn't really matter if I act like a child, right?"

Ivy shook her head, then she pursed her lips.

"By the way, how many children do you want from me?" asked Alistair curiously.

"Actually, I don't want to have a baby ... I am afraid my career will be disrupted," said Ivy.

"It's fine if you don't want to have children from me too. I won't force you to bear my child later, I was just teasing you," Alistair chuckled.

"I am also afraid that my body is getting fat while pregnant with our children," concluded Ivy.

"Your body will not getting fat even if you are pregnant. You will still be slim and beautiful, trust me."

"No, I am not sure. Some of my schoolmates had ideal bodies at first, but after they got pregnant and gave birth, they were still fat."

"Those are your friends, not you," Alistair tried to convince his lover.

"It's the same, I just don't want to have a baby," Ivy said spoiled.

"Ha, ha, ha ... well. It's up to you, Ivy."

"Instead of us constantly talking about children, we'd better go to the Bridal House. Come on, Ali," said Ivy, wanting to avoid conversations that she thought were completely unimportant.

"It's still too early to go there, I still want to chat with you," Alistair half pleaded with Ivy.

Ivy answered with just a nod and a faint smile.
