Sheryl’s P.O.V.

My only goal while staying in school all the time was to ignore a specific group of people, not that I am scared of them. It's just, I am sick of being injured almost every day.

I am scared of ghosts. Of course, I am.

I am a normal human being, and a normal human is meant to afraid of ghosts.

But there are some people in the world who are scarier than ghosts.

Just like the gang of bullies in our school who are adamant to make my life miserable every second that I spend in the school.

I breathed out aloud in relief after successfully getting downstairs, but it was so short-lived that I doubted it occurred as soon as I turned at the junction of the corridor.

“Aaahhh.” I screamed in panic when someone, I know who, tripped me. I was vigilant but yet not vigilant enough to save myself.

Again.

I screamed in pain once again when my knees and palms hit the floor and my chin almost touched it.

It was bad. The intensity of the pain was enough to tell me that it was bad. For a second, I couldn’t even breath.

“Watch out, Sheryl. Why I always found kissing the floor?” Jacob Hoffman, one of those bullies, taunted teasingly.

I couldn’t retaliate because it would worsen the situation for me.

One thing that I learned from all these bullies is that they don’t like people talking back to them.

More you talk back, more they find a way to torment you.

“Are you cursing us, Sheryl?” John Fisher, another bully, asked me in the same taunting tone, but I was in so much pain to even register what they were saying.

For a good few seconds, I stayed in the same position. I slowly sat up when I regained my breath again. I hissed in pain, tears filling my eyes immediately when I tried to fold my knees.

I only had one question in my mind.

Why me?

I wasn’t the only scholarship student here, neither did I the only nerd.

So, why me?

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at them.

The group of the most handsome boys of the school was standing in different posture in front of me. All of them were handsome to the extent where they could take over any famous model’s career at any time.

I didn’t know what their parents fed them, but all of them had a masculine body with a godly handsome face, a killing height of over six feet.

But I couldn’t admire their handsomeness because all I wanted right now was to curse them from the bottom of my heart.

Poor me…

I am the only subject of bullying for them when the rest of the girls in school got their admiration and care.

They were like queen bee with so many slave bees flying around them.

“What’s going on here?” I thanked God when I heard my homeroom teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Wendall’s voice.

This school was an elite school and the good thing was that most of the teachers were also from elite families.

So, they don’t show any fear or favouritism towards any student studying here.

That’s why her arrival made me breathe out in relief.

“Sheryl…. What happened?” I looked at her, but my vision was blurred because of tears.

“Nothing happened, Mrs. Wendall. I just tripped on my feet.” I gave her the perfect excuse that I always gave to my teachers whenever they found me in this state.

“Let me see your knees.” She asked while grabbing my arm and helped me stand up. I screamed in pain again, tightened my grip on her hand, almost falling on my knees again.

Once again, I heard a very faint sound like a growl but didn’t pay attention to that. It was common among us.

You see, we are not completely human.

We are werewolves, but the worst part for me was that my wolf was dormant.

We received our wolves at the age of sixteen, but mine didn’t mind showing up.

“It’s bad. You have a competition next week.” Mrs. Wendall mumbled. I slowly got up with her help and breathed out aloud.

“Luther, help her to the infirmary,” she ordered another student sternly.

“I have math class next, Ms. Wendall. Mr. Turner will not let me go inside the class if I go late,” He immediately protested, and I saw her glaring at him.

“I will tell him. Now go,” she ushered him with a stern gaze.

“No need, Ms. Wendall. I guess I can walk on my own.” I said to her politely, saving Luther because we all know Mr. Will Turner is the worst teacher in the school.

“Are you sure?” she asked me, concern written all over her face.

“She tripped on her own feet, Ms. Wendall. You heard her.” Luther protested, and I tightened my grip on Mrs. Wendall’s hand when she was about to say something more to him.

“It’s okay, Ms. Wendall. I think I can manage on my own. I just need a minute.” I comforted her with a faint smile, but I could see that she was clearly angry and disappointed.

She looked back at the boys angrily. I had my back towards them, and I didn’t have any intention to look at their faces to know their expressions.

“They have no rights to treat you like this, Sheryl. You are also a part of this pack just like them,” she grumbled while taking me towards the infirmary. She had a cold personality. Yet she never leaves any student alone if he needs help.

“Thanks for standing up for me from time to time, Mrs. Wendall, but you also know very well that it won’t do anything good for me.” I replied nonchalantly, wincing in pain whenever I took a step.

“You can’t stay silent and suffer like this always, Sheryl. I know th.. that you don’t have a strong background like they have, but it doesn’t give them any right to treat you like this.” She replied to me in a stern tone.

“But things are always like this in our society, right? Fear the strong and bully the weak. In my case, I fall in the latter.” I once again replied nonchalantly, but the pain in my chest increased.

It’s not easy or funny to berate yourself when you have high self-esteem.

I was glad that she didn’t utter a word again. This silence was comforting. My whole concentration was on walking now.

After my mother died during a rogue attack when I was just five, my father left me with my maternal grandparents.

When I turned seven, I learned that he took a chosen mate from his pack, and now he had another family in which I had no place.

After my grandmother’s death, all I had was my grandfather as my only family. As a regular gamma she-wolf, I had no status in the pack, and that’s why they all treat me like trash.

“Not again, Sheryl,” Rachel Hamster, the nurse, exclaimed in shock when she saw me.

“I am leaving you in your care, Rachel. Don’t let anyone come near her here. If anyone dares to disobey, you are free to dial Alpha’s number.” Mrs. Wendall instructed her sternly and looked at me.

“I am okay, Mrs. Fisher. I can heal like a normal wolf, and you know that.” I assured her once again. She didn’t smile but looked at me sympathetically before leaving me with Rachel.

“This is the fifth time in less than two weeks, Sheryl. You need to be careful if you don’t want to lose your knees.” Rachel said to me worriedly.

“I know, Rachel. I will be careful from now on.” I replied to her while looking out of the window with a blank gaze.

After my grandmother died, my grandfather tried to persuade my father to take me back to his family. He was sick and knew very well how the others in the pack treated me.

But my father crushed all my hopes of having my father with me again when my stepmother refused to take me in. They had two children on their own now, and she didn't want to take care of her stepdaughter, not when I didn't have any source of income to provide for them.

It’s not like I needed their financial support, but their words stung worse than a poisonous scorpion’s sting.

“It’s all done. If you want to go back home, you can, Sheryl. Ms. Wendall just called and told me that she got permission for you.” Rachel told me gently.

“Thanks, Rachel, but I want to lie down for a bit,” I requested, and she nodded in understanding. She helped me lie down and tucked me inside the sheet.

“Rest for a while, Sheryl.” She instructed me while gathering her equipment. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I don’t want my grandfather to see me wounded once again, and that’s why I didn’t want to go home this early.

“Oh, you know Sylvester’s twin brother, Gabriel Knight, is coming back?” Rachel asked me, and my whole body trembled hard.

Gabriel Knight.

He is coming back?

Sheryl's P.O.V. (Continued)Although nudity is the normal thing among us, I still didn't want to see her naked body. She was gorgeous, but right now, I felt repulsiveness towards her, and it was making me feel nauseous and embarrassed."You are injured," Morton remarked worriedly. I was about to say to him not to worry when I sensed their presence. They were about to reach the arena, and their presence was so strong. It meant that they were okay, and it was the only good thing that I felt during the whole day.The relief washed over me, making me take a deep breath of relief."Just some superficial scratches. No need to worry about them," I comforted Morton but felt my eyelids dropping.Alpha Adrian, along with Luna Hailley and the beta couple, approached us in the middle of the ground.Alpha and luna were infuriated, while Caden and Grace had grim expressions on their faces instead of worry for their daughter. They were worried but more disappointed in her."You broke so many laws to

  • Trapped Between Alpha Bully Mates   she lost her temper

Sheryl’s P.O.V.I didn’t know why I suddenly declared to replace Sylvester in the challenge, but now I was standing in front of Shannon in the middle of the ground, staring at each other coldly, but I could see malice and hated in her eyes.I am sure that she will try to kill me in her very first attack, but she forgot one thing.I tilted my head a little and smirked provocatively. She growled aloud in anger and immediately charged towards me.I still kept that smile, letting her anger cloud her judgement and forgot that I was trained by her father and Alpha Adrian all these years. She leaped high, raising her extended nails, aiming straight for my neck, and I let her think that she had the shot.I ducked my upper body halfway and spun on my heel to move aside, dodging her attack swiftly, and punched right in the middle of her spine when she landed on her feet. She screamed and fell to the ground, face-planting herself.I giggled but didn’t let this little victory make me overconfiden

  • Trapped Between Alpha Bully Mates   she accepted the challenge

Caden listened to Adrian while explosions went on inside his mind. His daughter rejected her fated mate because she wants to be the Luna. She challenged a minor she-wolf with no wolf because that she-wolf would be the future Luna. She broke so many laws without any hesitation only for her ambition. Grace was standing beside him, holding his arm tightly, also processing everything while having tears in her eyes. She also knew that her daughter has always been ambitious and wishful, but she never imagined that Shannon would go to any extent, even breaking laws, to fulfill her wishes.Shannon trembled hard in fear and anger when she heard Adrian refusing to let Sheryl fight with her.She was seething so hard that she almost ground her molars and canines in the presence. This protection should be hers, not for Sheryl - a pathetic and waste of space creature.Sheryl was also processing the information. She was Sylvester and Gabriel’s mate.Everything made sense now. Why Sylvester not only

  • Trapped Between Alpha Bully Mates   Shannon's demand

No one’s P.O.V.The whole arena went silent as soon as Shannon made her demand. Sheryl and everyone who was walking stopped in their tracks and looked at Shannon, shocked and disbelief evident in their gaze and body language. Both Adrian and Hailley also stiffened. Adrian growled and the next second he was standing in front of Shannon in a protective stance. Mortan had already moved earlier, pushing Shannon behind him.“Do you think that you can make a demand here?” Adrian growled challengingly, making Shannon shudder a little in fear.“She can, Alpha Adrian. According to the law, she can demand anyone to replace Alpha Sylvester in the challenge if he can’t be here.” Caden immediately jumped in his daughter’s defense.“Don’t teach me law here, Caden. According to the law, you and your whole family should be marked as traitors and should be banished by now. Do you really think that I have no evidence of what you and this daughter of yours did to harm the pack?” Caden’s face went pale w

  • Trapped Between Alpha Bully Mates   who will she choose

Sheryl’s P.O.V. (Continued)“Okay.” I replied to him, but a dread crept in my heart, making me tighten my grip on his waist. They really played a wicked and well-planned game.Morton was right. According to the law, if the future alpha challenges someone, and because of any unavoidable circumstances, the second person gets two options—either wait for the future alpha to come back and take the challenge or ask someone else from the pack to take the challenge. That other person must be high in the pack hierarchy, but that person can’t be from the older generation or a pup under 16.Shannon was a skilled fighter, but in the past two years, she concentrated on looking pretty and s*xy instead of honing her fighting skills. Still, I can’t say if she can fight Morton or Charlie or not, and it made me more afraid of the outcome. What if she asks for a non-fighter? There is no rule about that. If she really does that, Sylvester and Gabriel have to accept the outcome. I never participated in s

Sheryl’s P.O.V.“Go,” I said to Gabriel when he stopped abruptly and looked at me. “Is that Sheryl?” Sylvester asked excitedly through the call.“Yeah. She is here, in the pack house, helping Mom,” Gabriel told him, still looking at me.“Let me talk to her, bro.” Sylvester asked, and my heart skipped a beat. I don’t know why, but I had this strong urge to talk to him and comfort him, and my hand raised on its own to take the phone from Gabriel. He gave the phone to me with a stiff expression on his face. I didn’t understand his reluctance but didn’t dwell on that. We had a lot going through both our minds and hearts.“Are you okay?” I asked Sylvester worriedly. I heard so many other voices, but Sylvester didn’t speak immediately. “Everything will be okay, okay? You are capable enough to face this kind of situation. They are nothing in front of your capabilities. Just trust your instincts and you will be home soon.” I still comforted him in a low voice.Gabriel reached for my hand, and
