SELENA

"You won't dare do that, why are you doing this to me?" I barked tears gathering in my eyes as my heart started to pound yet again in my chest.

"I will do as I please with you, you are mine now," he said, flinging my hand away. "Until you learn to behave yourself."

"I am behaving myself, I am doing everything you want me to do but you are the one who is not keeping to your word," I yelled at him banging the table aggressively.

"You call that, behaving?"

I stared down at the food on the plate in front of me, trying not to show the disgust I felt, one more word from his mouth and I was sure I would slap him yet again. I had been abducted and held hostage for days now, wasn't that enough for him to show empathy toward me?

"Eat," he said, realizing I was not eating anymore, his voice trying to sound soothing but I knew better. He was trying to break me and I wasn't going to let him.
