SELENA

I was shocked by the little drama between Aiden and his supposed girlfriend, it made me have questions to ask him regarding this whole wedding.

Why did he get married to me after how I had humiliated him? And the wedding was quite secretive, no one knew about it. I ended up going back into my room after he left and not touching my breakfast even though Sofia begged me to at least drink the tea.

I ended up drifting in and out of sleep but the sound of footsteps woke me up. It was then that I heard the faint voice of Sofia by the door.

"Ma, dinner is ready," she said stepping in and bowing her head to me.

I sat up in bed, realizing that Aiden must have come back. I quickly glanced at the clock on my bedside table and realized that I had slept in until late evening, I couldn't believe I had slept that long.
