MIKHAIL'S POV

The rain kept on pouring, wetting the windshield. The car was quiet, too quiet. I could hear everyone's single breath.

Casper dared not mention a word sensing how bad my mood was. A Groan left my lips, the rain was growing heavier.

"Why didn't you inform me she was offered an internship at Genesis?" I finally asked the question on my mind the entire ride.

Casper's nervousness grew even though the driver could not speak. "Do I need to repeat myself?" I added then he let out a shaky breath

"I thought it wasn't of much importance if she was there," he replied, making me laugh.

I opened up the mind link between us because I didn't want the driver to hear what I said next.

"You thought it would not be important for me to know that she was working in the same place as I am and also getting cosy with her colleagues when the plan was to keep her away." I snapped at him through the mind link he flinched physically.
