Chapter 28

Mia POV

I was awoken by someone in the bathroom. I try to focus and hear gaging inside the bathroom. All the fogginess leaves me and I knew that it was Liam in the bathroom.

I stand up and look at the clock. It's just past 3 am. I was barely asleep for 4 hours. I grab my robe and walk towards the bathroom. I open the door and see Liam hunched over the toilet. I walk up to him and rub my hand slowly over his head.

"Hey, buddy. Are you okay?" He looks up at me. His face is pale.

"I don't know. I woke up feeling ill and the next moment I had to run to the bathroom." Liam sits down next to the toilet his head on his hands.

I pick Liam up and place him on top of the cupboard next to the washbasin. I walk to the bath and pick up Liam's washcloth. I wet it with cold water and start cleaning Liam's face. 

I take Liam back to my room and tuck him in. I walk to the kitchen to get some medicine for Liam.
