Naughty mouse

The first thing she felt when she regained consciousness was a serious headache. Her heart started beating rapidly. Her emerald green eyes fluttered open exposing her pain which was followed by her wincing in pain.

Placing herself in a sitting position, she placed her hand on her bandaged head, looking around that large luxurious room blankly. Suddenly, curiosity filled her eyes as she kept scanning every inch of the room, from the ceiling, to the window, from the window to the shelf, from the shelf... Her head suddenly felt as if it was hit, she let out a scream of pain and busted into tears.

The door busted open and up to fifteen human maids entered the room maintaining shocked reactions as they saw the crying human girl. 

Seeing the maids, she was astonished but didn't stop crying because of her head ache.

"Oh no, it must be her head, look at the way her hands are on her head" One of the maids uttered, she felt pity for the human girl.

Two of the maids exited the room to go bring her food while the others, seeing that she didn't stop crying and wailing like a child, they didn't know what to do.

"We have to calm her down before the Boss comes here" One of the maids suddenly said. 

"Yes, yes, I don't want to die today" Another uttered terrified.

The maids surrounded her bed aiming to calm her down but unknown to them, they were actually scaring her. She screamed, stood on the bed and jumped off the bed, over a maid who gasped with shock at her action.

The human girl ran to the window close to the shelf, sat down and hugged her knees resuming her cries and wailings which didn't seem like it was her head aching that was the reason anymore.

The maids tried their best to calm her down but she didn't stop, instead she became louder and louder until they started approaching her slowly.

"Please stop, you will attract the Boss" One of the maids said worriedly but the human girl wasn't affected.

The maids eventually gave up but at that moment, the maids who went out earlier to get food for the human girl walked in with two different trays of amazing, mouth watering delicacies. The maids in front of the human girl cleared the path for the maids who carried the food.

The human girl stopped crying immediately she saw the maids carrying trays and the amazing smell of food that filled the room. 

The maids were relieved immediately she stopped crying but their worlds came crashing down when she closed her eyes, screamed and busted into another round of tears.

"I am tired of this!" One of the maids screamed in frustration.

"If this continues, we are really going to die!" Another panicked.

They all blinked in unison with widened fear filled eyes as they stared at the crying human girl who hadn't stopped at all. They were assigned by Logan who informed them to take good care of the human girl if they didn't want to die. They thought it was going to be an easy, smooth task with no obstacles since she was a human and not a blood sucking monster like the members of the organization. They regretted being maids, regretted being alive immediately they met the girl crying, screaming and wailing. 

They felt that they were close to the gate of hell when they suddenly felt a hot, menacing aura behind them. Fear struck their hearts immediately. They froze without the courage to face their doom.

Axel was behind them with Theo, his butler who was standing beside him and had a stunned expression seeing how the maids were frozen up while facing the human girl who now wore a livid face.

Unknown to them, behind that livid face was a mischievous grin.

Axel's lips curled into a smile as he saw this silly mouse's act, but that smile lasted for a few seconds and his face became expressionless as ever.

"Face the Boss please" Theo told the maids calmly.

The maids all with terrified expressions had no choice but to finally face the beast.

"Boss, she has been crying since she woke up this morning, it's probably because, maybe, her head is throbbing and it seems that she also doesn't want to eat" Theo spoke loudly. 

The maids, at the sight of Axel, bent their heads not daring to look at him but what they failed to notice was the astonish look on the human girl's face, she blinked her wet lashes many times to be sure she was not seeing an illusion.

The maids cleared a path. 

The human girl looked up at the figure walking up to her gracefully, his hands were in his pocket as he walked up to her like a calm beast with so much power and authority radiating off of him. His long lashes danced above his oval shaped ocean blue eyes shining as bright as the ocean under the sunlight when happy, and could bewitch anyone that fell under his gaze, but could resemble dark pools of liquid fire when angry.

The girl's heart was beating so fast like it would fall out of her chest. Excitement stars filled her emerald green eyes which were teary some minutes ago.

Axel stood in front of her like a statue, one that can turn anyone into a Pygmalion.

The girl gulped softly, smiling brightly like a child who was given her favorite toy. Now he was closer to her, her facial features were utterly undeniable, she was indeed a beautiful woman. His thin lips curled into that of a smile that one could only notice unless they looked closely.

"Are you okay now?" His deep sexy masculine voice sank into the girl's ears making her have an eargasm, which warmed her heart.

Theo was indeed shocked by his Boss. He had heard about the girl being his mate but he wasn't used to hearing his Boss speak like this, his sudden change of attitude was intensely shocking.

The girl kept smiling at Axel, she clearly remembered that she saw him before she passed out. 

"You are really a naughty, naughty mouse" Axel uttered followed by a deep sexy masculine chuckle.
