Violet

The girl shookly rose up, maintaining a bright smile.

Axel touched her cheek and noticed how smooth her skin was. Her complexion was back to normal milky white and he was glad because it meant that she was feeling better. His touch made the girl shiver that she subconsciously stopped breathing and her white face turned red.

He noticed how happy the girl was to see him and it motivated him to continue touching her cheek.

"H..hi" Her little angelic voice rang in his ears making his imagination run wild. He blinked and removed so many thoughts from his head then stopped touching her cheeks.

"You love torturing maids don't you? And you refused to eat" Her uttered calmly which made her smile disappear.

It seemed that she thought that she was being scolded.

Meanwhile behind them, Theo made sure that he and all of the maids were out of the room.

Axel sighed deeply.

"Come!" He commanded with his deep voice, held her wrist and pulled her all the way to the dining room.

Theo arranged a variety of dishes with the help of the maids. The girl was amazed and was on the verge of drooling. 

Axel once again sighed deeply, released her wrist, brought out a chair thereupon led her to sit even though she was hesitant. Everything was so strange and new to her, she was indeed like a child. Axel sat opposite her, stared intensely at her as she kept looking at the maids who were serving the dishes. 

The girl licked her small heart shaped pink lips as her eyes followed the way the maids served the dishes.

Once the maids were done, they knew what to do and vacated the dining room while bodyguards stood at the entrance like statues.

The girl looked at the dish in front of her then at the ethereal man in front of her who was staring at her with those hypnotic ocean blue eyes filled with tender emotions.

Axel was curious to see how she would eat. 

He talked to Benedict earlier about the limit of how the girl could reason. Benedict informed him that the girl was partially like a six years old child who could learn really fast since she was familiar with all things before she lost her memory. In other words, she was dumb but could speak, play and do some least difficult things.

The girl smiled brightly at Axel then looked at the dish in front of her, bent and started eating with her mouth like a cat licking milk from his ball.

"Stop!" Axel half yelled in shock.

He almost laughed the way the girl froze up. Eyes widened, and a piece of meat was between her perfectly white teeth.

"Seriously?" He asked, an amused smile curved his lips.

He got up from his chair, walked towards the chair beside her, sat down and tapped her shoulder.

"You can't eat by yourself?" 

She looked at him and chewed the meat nervously which amused Axel even more. He exchange her food with a apple pudding and made her hold a spoon

"I guess beginners guide" He added with a deep sigh and started controlling her grip on the spoon, scooping the pudding and moving it towards her lips which she nervously parted allowing him to place the spoon into her mouth.

Axel did this continuously and actually enjoyed it. He ended up feeding her all of the meals until she was full. She actually ate half of the dishes on the large dining table until she was full.

"Quite an appetite you have" Said Axel as he fed her a cup of water which she silently drank, once the cup was released from her lips, she breathed in satisfaction and smiled at Axel.

"Thank you" Her angelic voice rang in his head once again making him speechless. 

He ended up smiling faintly and nodding as he said, "You are welcome, naughty mouse" 

The girl smiled even more, her emerald green eyes sparkled with joy and excitement.

"C...can I ask a question?" She suddenly asked excitedly.

Axel was glad that she was speaking freely. Her voice was so magnetic and angelic that he knew that he wouldn't get tired of hearing it everyday.

"Yes naughty mouse" 

He was prepared to answer her questions because he knew that she wanted to ask, who was she and who was he.

Her gaze moved from his face and to his dark Violet thick top.

"Can I have that?" She asked confidently and eagerly pointing to his top.

Axel was flabbergasted. He held out his top and questioned, "This?"

"Yes" She immediately replied.

Axel nodded slowly, maintaining an amused smile.

"Theo!" He called without looking away from the naughty mouse who now looked curious.

Theo immediately appeared in the dining room, he obviously used his speed and he looked stunned seeing the human girl and his boss staring at each, green eyes filled with curiosity while blue eyes filled with amusement.

"Get me seven pens, each with the color of the rainbow" Axel suddenly commanded.

Theo was stunned but he didn't dare question Axel.

He immediately left and after some few minutes, he returned with the pens and shakingly handed it to Axel then vacated the room.

Axel pushed the plates in front of him and the naughty mouse away, then placed a red pen, an orange pen, yellow pen, green pen, indigo pen, blue pen and violet pen.

The naughty mouse's eyes widened in surprise seeing the colorful pens.

"Now choose" Axel suddenly commanded.

"Huh?" She asked, confused , without looking away from the pens.

"Choose" Axel repeated sternly.

She looked at him, nodded with a cute smile curved on her lips, looked at Axel's top then at the violet pen. She immediately picked the violet pen and giggled cutely.

"This!" She giggled.

Axel smiled with satisfaction and leaned his face close to hers which made her freeze with widened eyes.

"Do you know what color this is?" He asked with a calm whisper.

She shook her head negatively as a NO.

"Violet, the color is Violet and your name is Violet" Axel informed and slowly held the strands of her hair which were on face then slowly pushed and tucked them behind her ear.

"Violet?" She asked with a high pitched tone.

Axel nodded and cupped her cheek.

"Yes Violet, Violet"
