Chapter 13 - Birthday
Chase POV
“I’m going crazy, man”, I let out, and colt nods his head slightly. It’s been days since I lost saw Arya, and I don’t know what to do anymore. I am going out of my mind about not finding her. This pull is crazy, and I can’t believe this is happening.
“Chill”, Colt says, and I look at him sideways. I am pacing around like a maniac. I haven’t slept properly since she disappeared. We even went to the office at school to get her address, but there was no one living in that house when we got there. It was a fake address.
“How can you be so calm?” I ask as he looks down at his laptop, and he shrugs his shoulder. As I am about to burst, there’s a knock on the door, and it opens straight away with mom walking in and hugging me tightly.

Colt POV I close the door behind us, and I see Chase wrapping his arms around Arya as he leans in closer to her neck from behind and whispers. Arya POV As soon as I saw Julia walking into the bedroom, I realised it was over for me. I don’t know how she figured it out or how she knows who I am. Julia keeps pulling me down the stairs, and everything is quiet, indicating the party is over. Chase POV “Dad, please make it stop”, Colt shouts as we both lay down on the floor, holding on to our stomachs. I take a deep breath, and I stand on one knee as dad looks at us with wide eyes. “What is going on? Arya POV The stabbing keep happening and I can’t move, the pain is slowly killing me. Why am I not fighting back? I should be fitting back. “Who sent you?”, Julia asks and I look her in the eyes. “My dad”, I say just before I close my eyes as the ropes are released from my wrists. I close my eyes and I can hear her screaming in agony. I need to sleep, I am tired. “Babe, wake up”, I hear Chase’s voice in my ear as his breath touches my skin sending a jolt of energy down my body. Slowly I open my eyes as I feel Colt’s hand caressing my hair. I just want to stay like this for one more second. I don’t want to move but the jolt of electricity from their touch make me open my eyes. Colt and Chase are now looking at me as I try to sit up, but everything hurts. My muscles are aching. Colt POV “Stay the fuck away from me, I Arya reject….”, Arya says, but Chase runs to her and collapses his lips on hers. I walk behind her and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her close to me, my heart beating fast as my wolf cries because of her words, words that Chase didn’t let her finish. Her warmth against mine sends a thousand jolts to my body as I feel her pulling us away.“Stay away from me, you psycho”, Arya says as she runs. I can’t stand being away from her, so run after her to have Chase grabbing my arm making me stop. “She will come back”, he says and I look at him placing both my hands on his shoulder and shoving him away from me. “How do you know? Arya POV I was walking for hours, and when I looked around, I was at the pack's border, the north border. I close my eyes and take a deep breath as I cross the border. As soon as I do so, I feel Silver twisting and howling inside of my head, and she is not happy that we are leaving our mates territory. I fall on my knees, grabbing my head as a severe pain attacks my body. I had never felt a pain like this before, it's as if my soul was being ripped out of my body. I stand up slowly as Silver moves into the back of mind allowing me to enjoy my pain alone. Chase POV “Come on, and you can do better”, Aries shouts at me as I try to escape from his blows to my torso. I have been focusing a lot more on my fighting. Losing Arya has made me go completely insane, and here, in the fighting rink, is the only place I can be myself and allow my body to take over my mind. Colt has been focusing on learning more about computers and that crap, and he thinks he will be able to track her down. She barely owned a phone, and she hated technology, almost as much as I do.
