That was none of my business. I told myself immediately.

"Seems like someone spiked your drink, huh?" I started, eyeing Jim in a way that told him to leave and the poor guy slipped out as Asher's attention momentarily turned to me. I refused to be held captive by those emerald orbs even though they threatened to see through my facade. "I can assure you it's not any of our staff here. Maybe you came with someone or left your drink unattended."
