POV Samantha
My blood ran cold as Dad said those words. I looked up at Troy who looked as shocked as I. Steve and Mary were like our Aunt and Uncle. We had grown up with them. They were there for everything. Every birthday, every holiday, every major life event. They were family to us.
"How is that possible? I thought they had Mike to guard them?" I asked.
"They did, Mike said that they were out for a hike all together and a group of rouges surrounded them. He tried to fight them off and killed three of them before they knocked him out. Steve and Mary fought back too. They each killed two rouges as well but Mike said that there were almost twenty rouges after them." Dad replied with a broken voice.
"Is he okay? Were the kids with them? Are they okay?" I shot back.

POV Alpha Jack2 hours earlierI nervously shifted my feet and sighed as we stood at the appointed spot. I eyed the area carefully as did my warriors. They had been briefed on everything going on. In fact, the whole pack had been. I had called a late night pack meeting after talking to my wife on the phone last night and we decided that it was best to tell them everything. POV LanceI felt a surge of panic as Luna Sara's phone rang and another as the power went out and everything went dark.
