POV Lance
I felt my mate inhale sharply at his words.
"What did the note say?" she demanded.
"It was addressed to me and on my desk right when I got back from learning about Mary and Steve. It said that you need to stay with Lance, Samantha." he said.
"Why?" Troy asked.
"He said that it's not safe for you here. That Lance and his pack can protect you for right now. It also said that I need to meet this note writer. It listed a time and place." he continued.
"I don't know, Dad. This could be a trap." Troy warned and I nodded in agreement.
"I don't know either but I feel like I should meet him. He said that he can explain everything and vowed that I won't be harmed. He even said that I could bring warriors and guards." Alpha Jack continued.

POV Alpha Jack2 hours earlierI nervously shifted my feet and sighed as we stood at the appointed spot. I eyed the area carefully as did my warriors. They had been briefed on everything going on. In fact, the whole pack had been. I had called a late night pack meeting after talking to my wife on the phone last night and we decided that it was best to tell them everything. POV LanceI felt a surge of panic as Luna Sara's phone rang and another as the power went out and everything went dark. There was eerie silence for a moment before a blood curdling scream filled the air.
