“What do you think?” Ronan asked Eric as they left the pack after the third day.

“I think he’s saying the truth. If Lucien had been there, there’s no reason why he would lie. Unless he’s been paid.”

“Ask one of our guards to stay here and view things. Let’s see if they’re saying the truth or not.” Ronan said.

Eric bowed before getting out of the carriage, leaving Ronan inside. Ronan leaned on the car chair, closing his eyes as a sigh escaped his lips. Three days of staying somewhere that looked like he wasn’t welcome and the only thing he could think of was her. He had asked the priestess to send a guard to inform him immediately if she was awake but since no one came, he could tell that she wasn’t awake yet.

A deep and worried sigh escaped his lips, how many days was it going to take her to wake up? Was it days or months? Could it lead to months? He had lots of things planned for both of them and couldn’t afford for her to take months.
