Stacey sat on the bed after the priestess left, pondering on the last words. She felt weak from her upper part down to her knees, and she felt like they might soon detach from each other and leave her here. She slid down the bed again, covering herself up with the blanket left for her before the thoughts sunk in.

Throughout the sleep she had heard various voices, one she was so sure of the owner. Maybe it was because of their conversation every day and him sitting across the table, but she was sure the voice belonged to him. He helped her so much, taking her away from those memories and begging her to wake up.

Sometimes his voice was what she looked forward to, and also the female voice that stood by her. She wasn’t sure the owner of the voice, because it was two voices coming together as one.
